Do we feel they have a greater plan for our balance that wasnt ready for 10.0.5?
If you spend any time on this forum, mmo champion, icy veins, reddit…you would quickly know that no mages are happy with the state of the class. Especially frost and fire.
It’s easy to assume they aren’t paying attention at all, but I find that highly unlikely.
What do you think the actual case is? Devs feel free to comment

I would be cautious with your fabricated expectations. We need an actual answer from Blizzard.
Fire needs some buffs however frost is completely fine and does not need buffs, but changes. Currently needs some changes to help it’s 3-6 target AOE, maybe soft cap snowstorm and increase it’s dmg? More targets for splitting ice at reduced dmg per additional target past 2? Make a new talent that increases frozen orb dmg by more scaling inversely from #of targets(more targets less dmg bonus)? Idk but flat buffs will just make frost OP in ST, 2 target, and mass AOE.
it’s funny he said they nerfed Demo because it was unenjoyable but OP, while progressively making ROP more and more necessary for mage with each expansion.
It means the specs aren’t as bad as you think they are.
