Genocide is okay

It’s based on real world.
I could also give you example on what its based on.

Add to that, most people ignore the fact that in cataclysm the entire twitlight highlands is a battlefield of alliance v horde, same goes for silverpine forest.

Add to that… almos the entire orc race and goblins side with him, willingly, they wanted glory and above all that, they wanter land and supplies. Which was they main reason for him to start. Thrall left the horde in a wasteland

We even had 2 new bgs reflecting that, and like 3 zones storylines revolving about that in Cataclysm.

It was war. Garrosh and his people clearly wanted to win and survive. Thats why plenty of the horde followed him to the end.

Violence is normal everyday life on Azeroth.

Not really, though.
There are plenty of NPC farmers, artisans, crafters, fishers and more. And not everyone roleplays glorified war heroes.
Seems like you’re saying that everyone kills someone every day (or is forced to violence in some way), which isn’t true, because the only ones out killing others are players, major lore characters or the NPCs in the military. And you cannot ever maintain any semblance of a long lasting army without food and/or currency.

People forget that the Mana-bomb dropped on Theramore killed every single alternate reality version of Theramore across all alternate universes in every alternate Azeroth ever.

Garrosh literally murdered infinite people, even across realms were Theramore didn’t exist, was a different city, or was at peace with the Horde.

This is so stupid even for Blizzard I just ignore it because it doesn’t really add anything to the plot.

Like most things Blizzard add to the story. It sounded cool on paper, so they went with it, and didn’t think of any actual lore or writing impact whatsoever.

Teldrassil was a training ground for druids which were to be used in war.

The attack was fair.

It depends on the canon you follow, if you stick to everything post Burning Crusade, Yes.

If not it is an entire different story, Draenei used to be native to draenor / outland, see the broken ones in Wc3 TFT campaign for further story : )

There are no rules of war on Azeroth.

The attack on Teldrassil was normal.

Teldrassil was a place housing enemy troops. The Horde attacked it. It wasn’t a big deal. The Alliance countered by attacking Undercity. That’s called war.

No it’s not. Not in the way you think it is.

There are themes from the real world that Blizzard has used (such as basing the Tauren off of Native American culture etc), but it isn’t a game that looks at our history, our customs and titles and says “Yeah we’re just going to copy that completely, 100%”.

Because if Warcraft was based on the real world in that fashion, then you would be correct, but you’re not. The ‘Lord Admiral’ of Kul Tiras is the monarch of Kul Tiras. That’s the lore. Really, that’s all there is to say.

Sigh.

To Blizzard, words mean what they choose for them to mean in WoW.

In one case, Lord Admiral Jaina Proudmoore was the sovereign leader of the Kingdom of Thereamore, which was smaller in game due to Blizzard being lazy game designers.

That this does not fit RL word definitions has NOTHING to do with what Blizzard has made the lore.

This is entirely on Blizzard.

If you, as a player, cannot handle that Blizzard is lazy enough story wise to write the word Kingdom on Theramore and claim a Lord Admiral leads it, then that’s on you.

By definition…garrosh didnt do anything close to a genocide…school has failed this generation.

Well-said, not enough people take lifespans into consideration.

Sylvanas and Garrosh both deserve giant gold statues at the entrance of Org, hands down the greatest Warchiefs to ever grace us with their relentless and ruthless genocide of pathetic Alliance lives. For the Horde.

I mean, nothing in this game is okay. War isn’t okay.

But yes, the writing is terrible.
