They do have Grom’gol in STV.
Part of his background is that he was ashamed of what his father did, and felt like he should never become a leader because he feared he was fated to drag anyone who followed him down a dark path. Again, he never wanted the leadership, but accepted it because after learning more of his father gained a certain level of confidence back in himself. In the end he still went down the same path of his father though, and in that regard it ties things out.
But I do think the bigger problem Blizzard has is trying to tie up a lot of the story up in other forms of media that people don’t follow, and that sometimes they don’t spend enough time building up certain narratives properly in a way that it will click with most people. Wannabe Thanos is a great example of this, but in Garrosh I don’t think they did a horrible job about it, maybe they just could have done more. I guess I don’t remember the entire campaign in MoP, but the Horde do spend a lot of time searching for the heart and being rebuked by the Pandaren, and Garrosh just keeps doing it because he wants to make sure the Horde are the most powerful.

Teldrassil seem shorter

Teldrassil seem short
2021 was a stressful year. Teldrassil is dealing with a little burn-out.
What was the lore on the creation of Teldrassil?
I thought they said it only took a few years to grow with magic.
If that’s true they could have grown it back by now. AND IF THEY DIDN’T it’s because they chose to spend all this time crying and complaining instead.
True, but that’s nothing but a very small encampment, you couldn’t launch much of an invasion there, if I remember right, they don’t even have a dock there.
Theramore has a full blown harbor and full military setup there with stables, a blacksmith, cannons etc.
Ya see there’s a logical explanation for why it’s ok for Sylvanas to commit such heinous acts . . . She moves merchandise and has “da booty” . . . a rotten corpse booty but as far as some are concerned a booty none the less
shrug

The title of Lord Admiral is the same rank for a Duke or a Duchess.
Perhaps in the real world, but in World of Warcraft it is not.
Lord Admiral is the official title of the ruler of Kul Tiras.[1][2][3] The Lord Admiral commands the Kul Tiran fleet and rules the nation in a similar fashion to a monarch. They are accompanied by the Admiral’s Elite Guard. All known Lord Admirals have been from House Proudmoore.
Does the Horde and Alliance have a LoAC type doctrine in place anyways?
In any case, Theramore would be more of a war crime than genocide. Teldrassil would also lean more as a war crime in my eyes, but I can respect decent arguments that it was closer to genocide.
its okay because they are demons… oh wait. because the are murlocs… i mean, we are not genociding them, just controlling the population…
its okay because the quest giver said so and paid 19g 35s.
“the player character did nothing wrong”
And that Lord Admiral ruled Theramore in the Third War with the Kul Tiras navy defending, for the Alliance.

She was a disgraced princess of Kul’Tiras at the time
Still a princess of Kul Tiras.

I don’t agree with calling a city of one a nation, because it’s not, but this isn’t exactly correct, since Jaina was literally exiled from Kul’Tiras, as evidenced by the fact that her own mother was going to have her executed for returning until they reconciled over Jaina literally commiting patricide.
The Horde killed Daelin, so no, not literally patricide. Being exiled or executed doesn’t change what’s in her blood. The queen, Jaina’s mother, was going to have her executed. Being the daughter of a king and queen makes her a princess. It’s a hereditary title.
Regardless, we both agree Theramore wasn’t genocide. That’s really the point of this discussion.

Is it the Stonetalon zone from Cata where Garrosh kicks a commander off a cliff for dropping a bomb on a city and saying it wasn’t honorable? Then he drops an even bigger bomb lol
idk if this is true but I think I remember seeing Blizz say something like that event didn’t really play out like that. Or they retconned it so that Garrosh knew about it before it dropped or w/e bs they do.

If that’s true they could have grown it back by now. AND IF THEY DIDN’T it’s because they chose to spend all this time crying and complaining instead.
It’s hard to grow something when you’re crying and also dead. Very much dead.
Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the Dranei arrive on Dreanor fleeing the Burning Legion and were followed by Kil’Jeaden which in turn he used Gul’dan to trick Ner’zhul, corrupted the orcs with demon blood and enslaved them turning Dreanor into the Outlands and then brought the corrupted orcs into Azeroth?
Honestly don’t know what the canon lore is nowadays but thats probably accurate
Sacrilege and HERESY!!!
There can be only ONE response to this Outrage! . . . .
Excommunication!
I’m so sorry, but it had to be done.
He waSn’t nice to the trolls and he killed Carine, unwittingly, he did it. Don’t remember what he did to the goblins and undead though.
Considering the lifespan of a lot of nelves, some may end up mourning for a lot longer than a few years. Its a matter of perspective on time spent living.
If your great-grandfather were still alive, it’d take him longer to “get over” the death of someone you both loved equally.
I’d wager the vast majority of night elves are still in that mourning process, and some may still be in shock. Just because you’re over it, doesn’t mean they would be.
Well they do have a Zeppelins tower do they could just drop mana bombs on SW from there
