Genn lost two homes (Gilneas and Darnassus), his son was killed by Sylvanas to protect his fathers life, and lost who knows how many Gilneans during BOTH events. He was there when the Horde retreated from the Broken Shore and had to watch countless alliance lives get thrown away AS WELL AS losing his best friend.
What happened to the night elves is sad, and Tyrande should totally get her hit in, but if ANYONE deserves the killing blow; it’s Genn Greymane. Sylvanas has hurt him far more than Tyrande has, and Tyrande had to resort to becoming the literal embodiment of her goddess’ wrath while Genn had to wrestle with a curse while driving off forsaken invaders.
I’ll be disappointed if Genn doesn’t get the kill and Tyrande does, but I will be utterly appalled if anyone else gets the kill outside of those two.

Give up! Do you imagine the number of people that Blizzard would leave unsatisfied in the horde, if any hero of the alliance got to hurt or kill the queen of the morgue for good, punishing her for everything evil she did and showing justice instead of violence and free brutality that many think should guide every action of a leader in this game?
Her plot armor is over 9000. Even if she doesn’t die at the end of Shadowlands, she will just end up as Illidan, or manage to be redeemed and see Genn and Tyrande express a tearful apology for trying to hurt her.

I don’t really care who kills her, but I don’t really see Genn having the strength or skills to do it without some massive upgrades; and if that happens without them explaining that, well. Whatever.

Psh it’s obvious Illidan will get the kill.
Personally I don’t think it matters who does it. As long as she dies everyone wins. The result matters more than whoever gets bragging points for it. If she becomes a raid boss then we’ll still get to smack her a bit anyways, so that’ll be fun. We do tend to do all the work.

I think it’d be cool if it was the Horde who killed her.
Before BfA, I would agree.
After BfA, everyone has to kill her.

My money’s on Anduin. At the end of the fight with her, he’ll give some grand speech so Blizz can show off how Good™ he is. Then, through the power of Human Potential™, he’ll use the Light to purify her because he’s so Good™. She’ll die from her wounds redeemed, and Blizz will be confused about why absolutely no-one thought it was a satisfying ending.

Honestly, the last thing we need right now is the Alliance getting smug about killing off the baddies of the Horde. Blizzard has already painted the Horde so bad and put them into another identity crisis situation. I would like the Horde to deal with its own problems for once, without the help of anyone else. In other words, poetic justice.
I’d just like to point out that both the horde and the alliance would be dead if we hadn’t started a retreat
We were boned, and thus you were boned

I want Tyrande to do it, personally. But I guess that can’t happen bc female characters can’t be strong/get vengeance without being portrayed as psychotic villains
Sadly it’ll probably be goody two shoes Anduin who does it like Karat said above

The only place I’ve seen Genn hanging out at all is Stormwind. So no, I think he only lost ONE home.
Nah, Tyrande should get to do it.
As a proud Horde member, I hope Genn kills her. And I hope to help.
Yes, it’d be yet another case of good guy Alliance winning again while bad guy Horde loses yet another faction leader, but that ship has already sailed and I really don’t want to see what roundabout shark jumping way Blizz would have to say “See, you guys? She was good all along!”
Just kill Sylvanas off and let the faction war die. Also let Genn be the one to do it. The last book suggests Genn has mellowed a bit and now just hates Sylvanas, rather than the entirety of the Horde, so let him get the kill, help him do it, and remove one more potential faction war instigator.
Don’t let Tyrande do it. She doesn’t deserve it. She has just become an overly aggressive loose cannon, spitting defiance in the Alliances face, seeking only vengeance against the entirety of the Horde. Even Genn didn’t get that bad. Jaina did, and I do not look forward to 3 expansions of angsty Tyrande looking to burn the world down in spite of everyone and everything like we got with Jaina. Do not reward her for her temper tantrum. If she can mature a bit and learn how to separate the actions of the few from the actions of the majority, then sure. Jaina did, and Genn seems to be now. If Tyrande can then let her have her pound of flesh. Until then only Genn deserves a satisfying conclusion to his revenge arc. Send Tyrande off to live with Illidan so they can scream vengeance into the nether together - then drop a mana bomb on them so we never have to see either one ever again.

(gives Karat a cookie because I am not sure if I should laugh or gag or a little of both lol)

Sure. After all, it’s not as if she hadn’t done unforgivable acts against the alliance and we don’t need much more of a pump fist moment, which we never had during BfA, than the Horde that did everything she sent and received another free pass, while alliance has to collect the pieces of its kingdoms. Again.
Poetic justice would be the Horde at least once in its life to receive a good Laser-Guided Karma and reap the consequences of something it has already done to the alliance for no greater reason than why its dictator of the month was bored.

Genn may have plenty of reason to hate Sylvanas, and I certainly won’t complain if he gets the last hit it.
But the people she’s hurt more than any other is the Forsaken, and she deserves to be torn limb from limb by them.
They gave her too much power ups, but i think that Genn should kill Nathanos instead.
Devs confirmed that the Alliance won both warfronts, so yes, you did have a pump fist moment
That already happened with Garrosh and war crimes. The Horde got its share of poetic justice only by a thread when Thrall killed him in WoD. Other than that, everyone got their turn at the punching bag in Siege of Orgrimmar.
Things doesn’t work this way.
Horde Warchief does damage to the Alliance.
Horde kills Warchief.
The Alliance won’t get to kill Sylvanas. If it happens, it will either be Thrall or not sure, Lorthemar.
Aside from that, the only one who came close to killing her was Malfurion who had her on her knees and that was before she gained more powers in the BFA war. If Malfurion and Bolvar are incapable of killing her now alone, then I don’t see any Alliance/Horde leader being able to.
Tyrande is a logical choice being empowered by a goddess, because Blizz can just increase her power a lot and still make sense, not the same can be said for the others now.
