Genn Greymane was the Alliance's MVP during the Fourth War

More like people can have PTSD and still remember/care about people they like.

Thrall recruit the Golbins while being “neutral”. At this point, Bolvar isn’t doing anything to oppose the Horde.

Well, an Alliance member can wear a crown that subjects you to literal evil, whilst you share the brains of literally countless undead and control them remotely, while feeling their evil impulses.

But please, continue downplaying the CROWN OF DOMINATION.

Or you know, you are overplaying how much the crown of domination can do. It was clear the crown couldn’t break either Arthas/Ner’zhul’s will fully(hence the Jailor needing a backup plan). And Bolvar actually being a more disciplined person then either of them means he might actually be able to resist its influence.

And the helm is now shattered and the Lich King is no more and all that is left is, Shock, Bolvar. A person who was once Stormwind’s leader. :stuck_out_tongue:

Underplaying the HELM OF DOMINATION, per usual. Bolvar announces that he’s afraid the Jailer can still control him.

“The Broken Helm still resonates with the power of the Lich King. The power… of the Maw.”

Unless he actively uses the Helm he is actually free of its influence. Again, you are overstating its power.

The Jailer… is gone… from my mind.

Thank you, . You saved me from a darker fate than you could ever know.

For that, you will ever have my thanks.

He used it whilst under its influence, as you’ve revealed yourself. Thank you for admitting that you were wrong.

So taking the helmet off didn’t break the helm’s control. Jaina broke it after Bolvar announced that he was sworn to the Alliance king Anduin Wrynn, at the end of 9.0.

He was only influenced by it because he kept using it to help us look into the maw.

Bolvar was free from its control. He was making his own decision but has still being subtly influenced by it which grew the more often he used it.

How in the name of the Void did this topic go from being about Genn to two people arguing over the Helm of Domination and a common saying in the Alliance?

Everyone quickly agreed Genn is the perfect, most intelligent and most wolfishly handsome ruler in-game and moved onto other topics.

/ a shadow swirls into the thread, corporeal yet immutable

Genn is the Alliance MVP at ruining Kingdoms they may claim.

First, he abandoned the Alliance, and came crawling back just in time to use his son as a human shield, and see his own kingdom ruined.

Then, his assault on the Horde Warchief at Stormheim gave the Horde more than enough cause to slay every Night Elf in their path in The War of Thorns.

Then, he remarks on Sylvanas desecrating the throne of Lordaeron… while his assault leads to its destruction.

Thank you Genn. You are the best of the Alliance - by providing its destruction.

Merely a ruse in the 11th dimensional chess match that is Genn’s ultimate plan to head up the Alliance and plant Gilnean colonies across Lordaeron, as was his ambition in that Deathwing novel.

It’s coming, I’m telling you.

He is just as likely a Dreadlord seeking the destruction of the Alliance.

As a King of the Alliance, he abandoned Lordaeron , which just so happened to fall to the command of Dreadlords, and become a whole Dreadlord battleground, quite possibly to this day.

His abject failure as a King led to the destruction of Gilneas.

His assaults on the Warchief of the Horde have given the Horde all the rights of justice to burn any Alliance within the range of thought.

And then he personally oversees the fall of Lordaeron.

Only to ensure the Zandalari would join the Horde’s war against the Alliance by killing Rastakhan.

To be fair though, Liam sacrificed himself to save his father. Genn may be a dick, the kind you can love mind you, but he loves his people and his family too much to needlessly throw their lives away. :wolf:

You are the Alex Jones of wow lore.
You should RP a news show in downtown Orgrimmar and call it… Lorewars
