General Vezax Hard Mode - "Okay, everyone stop dps."

(some or most) DPS must hit button! the button that says don’t use me yet must be used.

Blizzard replays this setup even in dungeons later. and dps still must hit the button(s). 2 sl dungeons I recall well you wait for mechanics and don’t have to hit an attack.

in the case of necrotic wake…this actually makes the run get worse worst case. Now stitchfinger whips out 2 constructs. when people can mess up 1 hook mechanic…imagine how “fun” it gets when 2 hook throwing constructs are out.

De other side dungeon has final boss has 2 “phases” on invulnerability. 3rd time seen then you smack them silly.

and yet there is dps hitting regardless. and burning CD’s…and…making the boss longer.

I did these as dps. dps who jsut watches the mechanic saving my cd’s for when it mattered.

wouldnt that make the Hard mode Easier though. sure you have to stop DPS but the difficulty of the encounter is based on your healers mana pool because they have to keep the tank alive while dps is waiting.

Agreed, hard minimum timers on boss fights is boring. The same thing happened to KT; phase 1 stopped being challenging and just became annoying.

Just make all vapors not currently spawned spawn at 10% health. That would leave the mechanic alone but prevent the stall.

For me the fight is literally just a target dummy that gives me a 20% haste debuff…

I can’t even interact with any of the mechanics unless a shadow crash ends up in melee range.

That completely bypasses the primary mechanic for the fight. The entire point of the fight is to manage mana. Allowing people to just skip that invalidates the encounter almost entirely.

Parsing does not matter.

Not every fight needs to be a 1 min zerg because some people don’t know what to do with their hands outside of “zug zug look at my orange numbers.”

Well a couple differences phase 1 KT was never challenging. Phase 1 Vezax can easily wipe you if someone screws up.

And it is you know a hard mode, if you don’t like the timer just zerg him down normal mode.

and we all know that’s far too demanding for today’s average “gamer”.

WCL accomodates stopping dps on this boss, it doesn’t really affect parsing. However, the boss is still uber boring and sucks.

Idk i kind of like the fight tbh.

If you like big numbers and play caster dps, I’m sure it’s great.

Oh prolly boring for melee, atleast we got to dodge mechanics.

4 minutes of standing and hitting only to have some moron warlock pull threat 10 seconds after the animus spawns, wipe the raid, and force us to stand and hit for 4 more minutes.

A couple weeks ago we had a lock kill vapors TWICE accidentally.

We had the other mage do it, accidently tab targeted and was Arcane Blasting a vapor rofl.
