GEFORCE Experience

There may be a bug with graphic settings using the GEFORCE Experience. If you press optimize, then log into game, you will see white spam text that states Error: Setting Shadow Quality. Also the settings from the geforce experience aren’t saving.

Same here I hit optimize then logged in to a whopping 6 fps lol. looks like geforce experience is not recognizing blizzard’s new terms for settings. I can’t wait for launch and watch drivers crash and burn for a while.

I just rolled back to 522.25 because COD was unplayable with seizure flashing. Why bother optimizing with Experience though just leave it standard and adjust settings in-game?

From what I’ve gathered, the “optimizer” feature in GeForce Experience is buggy junk and shouldn’t be used.

I’ve personally never used it with my 3080Ti or my previous Nvidia card, a 980Ti . Tweaking game settings manually isn’t that difficult or time consuming.

Someone asked in a thread a few weeks back why I recommended not using this software.

Please see exhibit A.

It’s buggy now but isn’t too hard to manually adjust.

You have no reason to be in those setting messing with stuff. Works fine by default.

Ive had a LOT of problem with it myself. Not that in particular but just not wanting to cooperate with windows in general.

Blizzard literally shuffled all their options around and changed and renamed a few. It’ll take a while to update software like these to manage the new settings.

I don’t even install that crap. I do a custom install of the driver, and nothing else.

Also, I don’t agree with all their settings anyways.
