Since prepatch went live I cant fully optimized DragonFlight prepatch using Geforce Experience. After I selected the option in Geforce Experience to optimize WOW and then login the following error messages appear in chat window.
Failed to setup setting ‘Shadow Quality’ with value ‘6’
Failed to setup setting ‘Particle Density’ with value ‘6’
Failed to setup setting ‘SSAO’ with value ‘5’
Failed to setup setting ‘Texture Resolution’ with value ‘3’
The above errors do not occur in Dragonflight Beta. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling wow and the same with graphics drivers but same issue occurring. I’m currently using game ready driver 522.25. I did try game ready driver 517.48 but same issue occurred. When prepatch went live my fps was hard stuck at 6fps. When I reinstalled wow the fps went back to 90ish fps but still lower than what it was prior to prepatch. On dragonflight BETA my fps is 30-40fps higher with same graphics settings depending on zone and how populated the area is. I had no issues with applying optimized settings via Geforce Experience prior to Prepatch.
I’ve tried manually applying Shadow Quality, Partical Density, SSAO and Texture Resolution via game settings but the same error messages occur in the chat window. The dropdown fields for the above settings is showing as blank until you click on them.
Edit
A glitch occurred when I created this post and dissapeared so I created another post about the same issue. Can a mod please delete this one?
