Gearing up for Trouble (Awakening the Machine) and Fire and Gemstone Bugged

During pre-release I was able to get the quest Gearing up for Trouble, which wanted me to do 20 waves of mobs. I was unable to talk to the NPC to start the quest (you couldn’t interact with him). It was later explained I had to wait for release. Upon waiting for release I hit Renown 11 with Hallowfall Arathi and picked up the quest Fire and Brimstone. Fire and Brimstone requires you to do Awakening the Machine to collect items. Both turn in to the same NPC.

Now that release is upon us, I am unable to do either quest as the NPC is STILL non-interactable. I have tried relogging, abandoning/accepting the quests again, but neither have worked.

Since this is tied to player power it would be great to be able to complete these. Please assist.

I was able to interact with the NPC to begin Awakening the Machine after accepting Gearing up for Trouble about 30 minutes ago, but even after clearing all waves and claiming all chest rewards, it still states 0/20 waves cleared as if I didn’t do it. ): I submitted a bug report in game, but man that sucks. It’s definitely still behaving oddly.

It appears that as of this morning I finally had an NPC option to start the Awakening the Machine. I did not start it due to reset.
