A lot of players tried to run gnomer undergeared in phase 2, so I put together a very easy check list for getting bare minimum geared for Sunken Temple in phase 3. If you love it, that’s great. If you hate it; well, quite frankly dear, I don’t give a damn.
By the time you hit level 50 you will have an avenue of wonderful items available to you, most of your focus will be on the Emerald Wardens reputation, as it will provide a 6pc set of gear, along with a mix of trinkets, rings, and even weapon. Other slots will be filled in with weapons and gear from Mauradon, Zul’farrak, and in some cases Uldaman. You’ll want to fill in any and all gaps with gear from BFD, Gnomeregan, and ideally Stranglethorn vale PVP. Unlike in Gnomeregan, you shouldn’t be stepping into Sunken Temple without a decent item in nearly every item slot.
Don’t forget the BoA rings and necks from the supply reputation in the event you have nothing in those slots. They can be difficult to fill.
