After the long and tedious grind to 70 (even with xp buff) I have to get my face stomped in for several hours just to get blue gear. I’m on horde and I didn’t win a single game. All that happened was I got destroyed by fully geared alliance for hours straight. They 1 shot me and my damage and healing was nonexistent.
Other games don’t require me to get destroyed repeatedly and have 0 fun in the process just to make an impact. You might be weak at the beginning, but you’re not entirely useless. You just pick it up and start playing.
If it’s of any consolation here’s my recent history on my new Alliance char.

imo just remove all gear from pvp or scale all gear to a certain ilvl
thats my opinion. i know a lot of peeps prob dont agree, but thats mine. UWU
how cool would it be if i could just log in and play any new spec any new time i ever wanted. oh man i would be glued to my screen i would never get bored of wow
right now theres prob 5 new specs i wanna try… but screw grinding out 50k conquest
That’d be okay for some people but not some sweeping “fix”.

yeah i know some people like gear advantages in pvp. so maybe my suggestion is just add an “exhibition m,ode” which is basically random bgs with scaled gear
But…why? The gap is pretty small and making it a little smaller isn’t very noticeable.

If you’re full honor gear the difference between full conquest and you is comfort at best, you still have the ability to do most things other players do.
Make conquest easier to get by all means addition number 392

you need to buy the 424 pvp gear from the auction house
youre supposed to struggle a bit with honor gear as you farm conquest. thats what makes the gearing process fun. because you get a dopamine hit with each upgrade. it promotes people to play arena. if you took this away people would queue less.

I’d say the crafted system is pretty convoluted especially if you’re aiming to be one of the crafters.
It boils down to get mats and use the vendor to post a request which is simple but learning all about that as a fresh player is probably confusing af imo
Did you buy the PvP greens from the AH?
Getting honour gear is pretty quick and easy. Catching up with conquest gear on the other hand…
