I use Pawn and I love(d) it and never had a problem with it.
It’s hard for me to know if an upgrade is worth it anymore and I have wasted so many resources to get something to 8/8 only to find Pawn said it WAS NOT an upgrade. (Im talking a 404 being better than a 411, weird)
But I can’t see if it is until I craft it.
Am I doing something wrong and should I just switch Add Ons?

Sadly, the answer is sim it. Pawn is no longer worth installing anymore.
Stat weights are just a bad measure of whether or not an item is an upgrade.

So which one do you recommend?
Top Gear, Gear Compare or Droptimizer?
All 3 are good for different things.
Top gear is for finding the best set of gear based on what’s currently in your bags
Gear compare is for when you need to sim 1-2 known items you don’t currently possess, or specific gear sets against each other without all the permutations
(top gear effectively generates all valid gear sets from the items you select out of your bags and upgrades thereof, and does a gear compare for all at once)
Droptimizer is to see how good items you don’t yet have are.
So if I run a droptimizer for Abarus H max upgrades, it does a gear compare, after generating all the gear sets where you take your currently equipped gear, swapping in every item on your loot table, and simming the result.
It’s a way to answer the question: what boss/dungeon drops upgrades for me.
