I just started playing again after 4-5 year break and had the Gear Update for all my characters. I did 1 character but wanted to lookup and read what is was before doing it with my other characters. The gear update has disappeared from all of my other characters except 1… I want to do the gear update for all my other characters now but not listed anymore.
You can’t do the upgrade if you log into them first.

From what I experienced you couldn’t login without doing the gear update first. There was no option to skip it… I did login on some of the characters that didnt have the gear update option enabled anymore… soo… idk what does that mean???
Not sure if this is the issue or not for you, but the Gear Update was for character levels 10-60 only… if you had toons below 10 or above 60, they’ll never get the gear update option.

No, the enter world button is still there. If the gear upgrade display is annoying you, you can minimize it with the button on the top left of the popup.
What happens if you do the gear up date on a character who is still in a starting zone? Like Wandering Isle, with no mailbox or faction? I haven’t tried it because I like that zone and want to finish it on all the toons there.
