Why is there gear in the game that allows lvl 69 or lower toons to have more hp than a lvl 70 that has scaled down to a lower pvp bracket? And not just by a little, like x2 to x3 the amount of hp. Why can’t this gear be scaled correctly so everyone can have a good time in a bg?

If you aren’t trying to twink the bracket, you should get out as soon as possible and PVP at max level instead, it is more balanced.
You used to be able to farm a full set of honor before reaching max level before in the 61-69, but now it is full of twinks.

Being level 70 and able to Que into lower level bgs is absolute garbage!! It should be removed from the game it serves no purpose

the problem isn’t twinks in 61-69 the problem is that bracket jumps 200 ilvls in 10 levels.
a 61 in gear for their level might be 240ish ilvl while dungeons drop 400ilvl stuff for level 69’s.
the 5 crafted pieces arent enough to balance it out.

why do you think it’s exclusively level 70’s? in 61-69 its the only level that can sync into that bracket obviously. a level 50 can sync into 10-19 and have the same template a level 70 would also syncd into 10-19.
you understand its a template right? no set bonuses active. enchants and gems turned off in fact if they want to use any trinkets they need to equip BoA ones.
That isn’t true, I know because some of my Real ID friends who are glads do this and their gear is a lot higher in item level than most leveling.
Also syncers depending on the bracket have access to their entire talent tree while the players leveling do not.
Which is just broken design.
and thats part of the problem. the “leveling players” are so far undergeared a syncd 70 or even another leveling player at 69 in dungeon blues is considered a twink or overpowered.
Yeah I feel like blizz let this happen so many years ago and it’s just such a filthy part of the game that needs to be removed.

That’s the excuse for every bracket that has been hacked by players in superior gear.
We keep saying to level out of each bracket cause the next one will be better.
Next bracket is the same thing.
Rince and repeat until max level. OP has a valid point, why would any new player continue to play wow PvP?

Taking the PVE and questing route, some really good players level from character creation to max level in 6 hours. Play how you’d like within the ToS, but if lower brackets have you unhappy, I’d recommend leveling first and PvPing after.

half and half. dungeons at levels under x5 then bgs till you hit the next bracket.

Heaven forbid you lose a match, the experience you could have gained in a dungeon or a few quests is about 10x greater than a failed BG. Happy to have folks level in PvP if that’s what they enjoy. Winning matches isn’t terrible EXP.

They need to get rid of gear altogether. Some other mmos like guilds war has no gear and the pvp is amazing. This would solve this issue. plus no grinding for gear.
