The funniest thing is that all of them scream “Skill > Gear”, but the moment anyone says to make all gear the same, they start frothing at their mouth and talking about how we shouldn’t be allowed to get gear that he has.
It’s kinda ironic how “skilled players” are scared of an even playing field.

His point is very true. Gear differences are extreme, but it’s not like that bad gear holds you on super low rating if you are a good player. I mean, you are playing on 1.6 with 208 ilvl. But it’s funny that you thought blizz has done a great job when rogue was super broken, but you think they are doing a bad job, after they brought him down to the level of other players.

The issue is nuanced and not just whatever you two are thinking it is, it’s not about being bad or good, it’s not about low rating or high rating, it’s about rating locked gear, PvE nerfs, general PvP imbalance and how all those things come together.
I leave my profile open so anyone can see it, I have nothing to hide so you bringing up my rating is irrelevant when my opinion is not only more popular than both of yours but is also most likely what Blizzard will do once a lot of people start unsubbing.

Live lord healers with 36k+ in 2s are very close to immortal. Its just ridiculous. Only similarly geared or better can drop them, and i had a game yesterday that i already wrote about on here where a 226 duelist ret was doing a skirm with his low geared friend and hit me for 35k damage in 2 hits. Ringing clarity procs into final verdict.
Anyone defending this trash is just a) already geared as hell b) already high rated.
If anyone thinks its fair for 1400 TO BE A PUSH for people beginning arena they are mentally ill.
Show me a 180 player hitting 1400 without extraordinarrrrrry effort.
Someone in a previous thread mentioned pikaboos WW alt at 180 being unable to even tap 1500. Says a lot.
Some guy in this thread claimed that he can hit 2.1k with his 188 alt just to prove that gear doesn’t matter.
It’s crazy how possessive people are over their iLevels that they can’t even understand how much of a disparity there is.

Anyone hitting 2100 in 188 is doing so with 215+ partners who are duelist/glad level players to begin with.

yea bc skill matters more than gear unless the gap is massive but the way gearing works this season it isn’t massive
The premades in BG’s are horrible. Like you can’t even play your class. 226 enhance shamans just one shot you with wind fury procs.
Oh and any time a fire mage pops combust you just instantly die through all defensives
No matter how much you think gear disparity isn’t real, it is and it’s an issue that’s only going to get worse

200 ilvl is competitive enough for 2100 easily

Yeah im already fighting people with 30% more health and damage at 1550 mmr. I really dont care to wade through hundreds of super sweaty games vs people with huge damage imbalances to hit 2k.
In what universe is 200 to 215 or 220 not a big diffeence lol.
I have 31k hp fighting people routinely 38k and up. Im even seeing other WW at 34 to 35 on the norm.

Yeah. Its the skill and gear disparity. The point is good luck at 188 getting gladiators with 215 to play with you for 100+ games to hit 2100.
Never happening unless you know them personally or its a paid carry. That is my point.
Find me one player in the entire ladder who is 188 ilvl above 2k.
no one above 2k is 188 for long because legit if u play the game u will be a min like 205 ilvl

Idk man. I fought mage rogue yesterday both were 215 at least and my partner was deleted from existence in the first 4 seconds from combustion damage. Not seeing the intense skill to hit combustion macros and instantly kill someone 
I paralyzed his combust and being r1 he trinketed and took a full leg sweep into burst cds from me and it barely touched his triune bs and then he globalled my partner.
I disarmed the rogue. He trinketed disarm
They trinketed paralyze and disarm in the first 4 seconds of a game and won with unsurvivable damage.
Like…i just dont agree. I could cheese it with a 226 healer but its just not fun atm. Arena participation feels pretty dead atm. Even at low rating im fighting the same 2 or 3 teams over and over
The people defending this are those same 2 or 3 teams 
Buncha white knights and elitists protecting a game that claimed it sold the most copies on first day followed by the most unsubscribed first month.
They’ll eventually fix the system if they want to keep the game alive, so I think they’ll do the right thing.
