Gear Reforging- allows undesired stats on gear to be exchanged for more useful stats. this poll is more of a personal one for me so it may not go over well.
Reforging gave me more control over my toon I could setup my toon how I like to play Not how Blizzard wants me to play.
P.s This will be my last poll for a few weeks I don’t want to overflow to forums for just polls.

I miss reforging a lot, and without being forced to hit/expertise cap it’d be an even better system.
need to take “/r” off the end.
Most players can’t figure out how to actually gear their character now. It would be fun to see re-forge let them screw up worse.
Or they could set up how they play. back when we had re-forge me and my buddy, we setup up our fire mage for haste most fire mage was running crit but we made it work for us and had lots of fun.
I dont discount you guys had fun. But no one wants to carry a “fun” style that underpeforms.
Nobody wants to carry a bad player so should we get rid of all the bad players.
Do not get it twisted no one carry us In AB one time we stayed at the mine Just the 3 of us we had a pocket healer. we never lost the mine I was like 8-2 he was 12-0 . there was many BG’s where it was just me and him and we would tear it up If you get 2 mages to lock down and kill a healer that helps a team out.
Again, I don’t discount you and your friend have fun. But they can’t balance the game around yolo bgs and rando builds.
Food for thought: without bad players, there wouldn’t be good players.
Since it’s such a roulette it would be cool if you could only reforge pvp gear.
They cant balance the game anyway.
I wouldn’t mind it back to help with the dissatisfaction of RNG loot (especially PvP). You got a piece of gear that could be an upgrade but the secondary stats aren’t good for your spec. Change a few things and it’s an upgrade again. Hooray!
I think it would be more helpful if there was in game information for secondary stat priority per class/spec. Seems you have to go to an outside resource for that since the only thing your talent panel tells you is something general like intellect or agility. Could be a big help to new players who aren’t aware of online guides or don’t have guild/community members to help explain
That would require people actually knowing what are upgrades or not. It is scary how many people don’t. And WoW has a pretty good mix of ingame and 3rd part info. I’d imagine they don’t want to kill 3rd party because a lot of dedicated people have put time and love into the community and there is no reason to kill it.
This is true, but I’m not asking them to. What re-forge did was to allow a player to take control of his toon and take the undesired stats that Blizzard put on them change it to something that you like. sometimes the stats on gear would not even help you out before re-forge you would have to sell it or delete it.
Blizzard has killed many 3rd party add ons.
Agreed, I should have included WoW should also be careful not to make those third party sources irrelevant if they were to add more info. I wouldn’t want to see them go away. It’s great to have people so dedicated to the game and helping others figure it out so they can enjoy it more
Right now Blizzard sets up your toon to how they think you should play it. re-forge would allow you to set up your toon and play it how you think it should be played.
It would ruin the time played metric!!
I would love to get an upgrade and have the choice to pick the stat, reforge would be nice.
