maybe it’s just me, but the gap between fresh 60s and high end players is already over 80 ilvls and as the season goes on, trying to cap new alts will be more painful than a night at Little St James with 200+ ilvl 1500 players
I like that we at least have honor vendors but the amount of honor needed to finally upgrade to poo level 197 is exceedingly high
conquest not being upgradeable without rank is on one hand fair, on the other hand the difference is 26 ilvls which is kinda insane and especially with this meta
can’t see this expansion being casual friendly

I have a couple guys around level 51-53. Then I remember I didn’t do chore item 1654 on my main and stop leveling.
There’s just way too much reliance on the vault to gear up. Starting weeks behind and not getting those vault pieces is a major setback.

That’s all I do too lol. Renown i’m less concerned with hitting cap (as long as I hit the relevant tiers - like unlocking ability to upgrade gear). Torghast sucks on alts, but it’s not THAT bad.
I ignore everything maw related even though I feel like at some point that’ll be tied to pathfinding for flying.
BfA was the most alt unfriendly expansion ever

I just left a skirm vs a lock with 40k health. The scaling is lmao stupid right now. I am leveling alts and doing bgs for fun to level them until this is sorted out, if ever.
Im not going to rage every game until i have a heart attack because i didnt cloak vanish in the first 1s of an enhancement burst or boom or whatever but they can backpedal to victory because of 210 ilvl and imba healing.
Game is trash atm.

If you want to play an alt you effectively double your PvE grind, that x2 on the renown stuff, 4 torghast runs instead of 2, not to mention it feeling realllly really bad grinding out the 30k honor in bgs or arenas in low gear getting stomped b/c of low gear.
I dont keep alts up on sockets but if you want alts to have sockets thats also x2 maw stuff u gotta do.

Anyone who doesn’t miss the simplicity of a single honor set and conquest set is insane. It’s why people were pushing so hard for a PvP stat.
Hell WoD scaling gear would work too( we almost need it to get a small amount of extra Stam to combat burst) but instead we get this mess.

Well, both torghast and renown are quite tedious grinds on fresh characters. The grind to catch up in gear whether it be endless bgs or arena, all the questing for renown, having to do 1 layer at a time until you reach layer 8, acquiring gold to purchase legendaries, etc. I dont play enough to farm gold properly, yet on my server i’ve gotta dish out 100k+ gold for 235 ilvl helm. Not everyone gets to play wow like its their career. I just wanna log in, do some quick pvp. I don’t feel like doin some bs renown campaign quest, torghast runs, and dailies. Just wanna pvp

Yeah, I think the game was in its best state when there was just one set for honor and one set for conquest - higher rating just meant your conquest cap was higher, so you got gear faster (along with having slightly better weapons at 2.2k).

Yes it was much better then. This also stopped the insane rating inflation because there wasn’t period of ridiculous gear gaps and pve nerds filling up everything under 2.2
