Why cant we make BOE epics from professions…making gold from professions is kinda useless unless its a gathering profession
same reason you couldn’t make boe epics for every slot in every previous expansion, because blizzard doesn’t want to completely undermine their endgame gearing activities by letting someone swipe a credit card & walk out the AH in head-to-toe BIS.

I’m making millions from professions. Even my worst prof has made everything I put into it, bought all recipes, and is up 200k. So making gold is quite possible.
But ignoring that- let’s say we could make purple. The problem is everyone could, so the profit margin would be similar to what is is on prof eq right now- a few hundred to 1000 gold each, with long sale times. And unless you could add your own crests, you’d be selling champion gear, so only fresh alts would buy it. If you could add them, would you want to grind 7 dungeons per piece, forsaking all you own crest needs?. I doubt it. So it would be useless by now

ya but their should be some type of gear you can craft from professions
There is plenty of gear available to be made, but it’s done through the crafting order system.
This isn’t a complaint about gear. It’s about not being able to put things up on the AH.
Crafted green PVP gear is BoE so you can sell those on the AH.
