Please add a disclosure to certain item enchants that they can’t be used on current gear. I just lost gold trying to use “enchant gloves - eternal strength” & “Shadowed Belt Clasp” There is NOTHING that says you can’t use it.
Nowhere on any tooltip does it say you can’t use these until you have it in your inventory and try to use it. Just for it to say “Target is too high level”. I just got scammed bro.

Rule of thumb, filter auction house to only see current expansion items, to avoid exactly this.
Thats weird ive been using the other DF enchants like waking stats and wafting devotion.

On max level items? The head enchant for amidrassil stops working if you try to use it on level 80 head piece, but it works until then.
Yeah, it’s stupid. All level/ilvl requirements need to be put in every single tooltip it pertains to in the entire game. Shouldn’t have to open wowhead and search your enchant to find out that your ilvl on the item is 1 single ilvl Over, or under and so you just lost 30k or some mad crap like that. It’s lazy, and it’s toxic towards the players.
Yes ive been using waking stats wafting devo ring enchants and bracer enchants. Last time i put em on was wafting devo on a delve weapon like 2 or 3 days ago.
Modern enchating is garbage, fairly sure they did it on purpose to make enchants more or less optional. Weapon enchant is probably the only one worth anything.
Only real use for enchanting now is making those gear crest thingies.

You’re right, I just enchanted my cloak with DF avoidance… hmm. Maybe only enchant stuff works. I’m guessing something like fierce armor for legs wouldn’t work, off to check.
Oh that would actually make sense if belt clasp isnt working either.
