Gear and talents

Hey guys, hope everyone is having a good time in TWW.

I was thinking about gear and talents.
Should, and if so how could the team incorporate talent points on gear? (that would add one rank.)

I was taking a look at my talent tree on my DH and there’s some talents that I think would just be cool to add a point into. It could be talents I don’t have because it’s not part of the build I have selected but would amplify abilities or give an ability I otherwise wouldn’t have.
I think there should be a limit, let’s say it could be done with only rings and trinkets or maybe only certain gear slots like head, shoulder, legs and gloves. Strictly speaking it would be for PVE only, in my mind it would deactivate for PVP.

Imagine a scenario where a second or third rank might add another effect to a talent . That sounds pretty fun to me.

I can imagine that would be more satisfying than waiting for set bonuses to come out and it being lack luster.

Just a thought I had considered when looking over some talents and unused talents.

I think it would be really neat and fun. I think it would spice up builds.
I don’t have the answer to which talents should be picked, maybe any and all, or if ranks should go beyond what blizzard already has implemented.
I don’t think it’ll trivialize content anymore than it already can be from over gearing or undertuned content.

There’s enough balancing issues that I don’t think they need to make it worse by adding a new version of Azerite gear.

This is what they did with legion artifacts, was annoying trying to get the right type relic with the talent you wanted and have it be an upgrade.

Sounds like you would just like some extra points to spend on more abilities in your spec tree. Which I don’t disagree with, but there’s gotta be a limiter somewhere.
