GDKPs gotta go

Spoken like a true guilty person.

your paper tiger argument is bad because in fact you do require evidence for your claim in this situation. hence why we also dont have police going through houses in NA asking for papers lol…You can wear that sort of clothing if you want. it might not be for you but everyone has their own style.

sounds like mad bc bad imo. Its on the person claiming that RMT is rampant in GDKP to prove it, not the party to prove innocence lol. If you can link 1 source thats credible that shows stats and facts then Blizz would easily listen and act upon it. So please I welcome the facts and stopping of RMT as it hurts gameplay for everyone.

It’s common knowledge and it’s also obvious with how much money is going around classic compared to original vanilla, tbc and soon to be wotlk. This extra money can only be obtained through raw gold farms and then pumped into the economy creating massive inflation to the point people are dropping 10k gold for 1 item on the regular.

It’s funny, because in their post about the upcoming changes to boosting, one of their reasons were they they know boosting is a means of propping up the RMT business. I find that hilarious, considering probably 10% of bought gold is spent on boosting, while 90% is spent in GDKP’s.

You can’t claim to make changes to one area of the game as a defense against RMT, while leaving its single largest contributor untouched. GDKP’s are absolute cancer and have ruined everything that was once great about WoW. They absolutely need to go. I really hope they address it and make GDKP’s a bannable offense before it plagues their new fresh servers.

Cmon blizzard, get on the ball. Between your no-care attitude toward realm balance and continuing to leave servers layered because you foolishly turned them on, and your inaction against RMT via boosting and GDKP’s, you’re really showing yourself to be out of touch.

The act of Rmt doesnt inherently create inflation.

How is it common knowledge…again please prove that?

Yes because people know how to farm gold better and know what items to sell…Also m uch larger servers allow for more gold income. Less wiping as players have knowledge of fights years in advance…knowing what to buy and what isnt needed…

This could be explained above. More players on alot of the servers compared to old servers which were much smaller in player numbers even the “high population” ones. Again knowledge about how to make gold much easier to find. less dying to silly things as the general playerbase is much better than it was back in TBC.

Alot of what your saying can be explained by in game means. That doesnt mean 100% is legit as I would guess that some players do abuse RMT and there are outliers who have excess gold and some might make it legit and some might be non legit. But you would need to prove the numbers instead of assuming all GDKP buying is RMT and that RMT is so rampant that GDKP is born because of it. GDKP has been around since tbc/wrath.

Citation needed. Also there are hundreds of thousands of players running and participating in gdkps who have zero involvement with rmt. But the majority of mages running boosts seem to be doing it as a full time job which is a little sus and probably why its being targeted. It serves little legitimate purpose and is primarily a vehicle for generating gold for gold seller’s

RMT is only rampant because there is no risk for the people buying it.

Selling items doesn’t create more gold, only raw gold creates more gold.

You are incorrect sir. You should think about that statement a little and get back to us with your second try

If people sell items for more, how does that gold exist in the first place? The only way to make gold is by quests and raw gold. That is literally the only 2 ways gold is ‘Created’. The rest is only juggling the gold that was created by either quests or raw gold.

The inflation I see in TBC is that there isnt any big gold sinc so I personally just stockpile gold as I main hunter so I rarly respec, change gear…so I get about 1-1.5k per GDKP for BT/Hyjal and maybe 2k for Sunwell a week plus around 240 for dailies every day. I also herb and mine just for sending to my JC to sell rings for about 1k profit a pop…No reason to sink money into anything…5k flying once…some gems which are cheap bc badge seller now lol…chants sometimes…

Still incorrect. Think about it and give it another go. I believe in you

Give me 1 more way that gold is populated into the game world. You can’t because there isn’t any other way gold is minted. It’s the same as bitcoin, it gets mined and it can be traded, trading doesn’t create bitcoin, only mining does. The difference is in wow gold can be constantly minted infinitely while bitcoin is finite.

Gold is generated 3 ways and that is offset by a variety of gold sinks (ah fees, respecs, vendor goods (reagents etc,) mounts and to a small degree skill buys. Unfortunately people have gotten so efficient at generating gold that the sinks just cant keep up which, combined with a much higher demand for almost all trade gooda and consumables, has led to the crazy inflation we see today

I really wanted you to get it but sure… If youre admitting defeat: Vendoring

That’s raw gold you damn fool lol.

No. Its not

Mate in the gold farming circles it’s considered raw gold. Nice semantics thought.
