Yeah, no one is arguing that Wrath isn’t full of gold buying Swipers. So hopefully the ban gets extended there.
Towards my life?
GDKP was totally legit, RMT still in the game and they removed a fun way of making gold. Total L not to mention that GDKP is the only incentive to keep raiding after you’re geared. In a couple weeks gnomer pugs will be dead.
I hope every Warrior and Rogue crying about being unable to find a group is a GDKP hater that killed his own chance to play the raid.
I’ve been watching bows of searing arrows on the AH just to see if it will go under 100G for a buyout. Its gotten close the past few days, within 125G for the bow. The silencer the gun is another that has gotten down to around 30G for a buyout. Now rewind to about 2 weeks ago when most people were still leveling and it was 1000G for the bow on the AH and 300G for the gun.
Whats the point of all this? Its just the fact that mats and prices for gear have dropped significantly. You can make almost 300G from quests alone. There has NEVER never been an easier time making legit gold at this level for classic WoW then RIGHT NOW. You don’t need whales to funnel you gold. Just play the game and chill out and have fun.
Time to come back to wrath which has a free market and tokens instead of this nonsense.
Mmmm that 5k price tag for flying tho. Another 1k for for cold weather flying. And the noobs crying about mount cost in sod hahaha
Lost Ark is that way.
Serious question…
Where did the money come from to make GDKP fun???
It came from one of two things.
- RMT (Most Likely)
- Farming/Questing outside of a GDKP
I hate GDKP and raid with my guild, as it should be.
nah the way it should be is you mind your business and raid with your other guild, while letting others play how they want
Ok,…but where does the gold come from then?
Other gdkps

These posts are getting old.
It’s everyone’s business when the RMT laundering operation that is GDKP ruins the economy.
what ruins the economy is Blizzard not giving gold buyers more than a 3 day or 2 week ban and not removing their gold, thus allowing ANYONE to buy gold to overcome the gold sinks implemented in the game.
You have ZERO idea how the economy works if you think GDKP is what caused inflation.
Yikes. Go look up the concepts of supply and demand (supply a massive gold requirement to buy gear, demand for rmt gold rises), and the effects of inflation on a closed system with a massive influx of currency. Basic economic models show clear as day what gdkp does to inflation by providing the most massive gold influx the game has ever seen via rmt bots. You arent wrong about there being another way to combat inflation (banning bots), but putting up that strawman to fight as if banning gdkps doesn’t help is ridiculous. Furthermore, claiming anyone else doesn’t understand economics is quite comical coming from you after that display.
All it takes is ONE person in the raid to have bought gold. – That person will jack up the price of everything their interested in because they did not put in the time to grind for the gold so its not worth as much to them as it is to you.
GDKP ruins the game for players who are there for gear… forces them to buy gold…
The only people who are complaining about GDKP are people who profit from RMT by proxie, and the bots/sellers themselves.
I don’t have a problem with GDKP, I have a problem with RMT. If Blizzard would just drop the HARD Ban Hammer on anyone who buys gold. People will continue to buy gold… nuke RMT and all who participate from orbit and GDKP could potentially make a comeback.
I feel like Blizz wants players out in the world farming. That’s one of the reasons for increasing Gold costs of everything from learning abilities to just buying food and water, etc, etc. It’s just one more thing to keep players playing.
They likely don’t want players just treating WOW as a single player collection simulator where all you do is get to cap and Raid log just like they seem to want all players to be in guilds for the social ties.
Yawn this argument again
