RMT and Gold Sinks are more directly linked then GDKPs are.
Lets remove them too.
Make mounts free, talent swaps free, skill training free, void pearl trinket free.

It is not. It certainly incentives bots/rmt, but THOSE are the real problem. Not a player created loot system.

hard to believe people are still talking about this. GDKPs go hand in hand with cheating as stated by blizzard in their justification for banning them. GDKPs are banned in SoD. After all the failed game developer choices in this game, aka FUN POLICE.
Just wondering where to go from here, like an actual good game where the developers don’t nerf you every 7 days, invalidate the time it took to grind your BiS weapons (aka hunter), add absurd gold sinks, etc.
Cause this game is just getting worse by the week.

Sure GDKP is not gold buying.
I also don’t think blizzard will restrict GDKP in all other versions.
However, I think it is good experiment to have SoD without GDKP. They are doing significantly positive in fighting RMT. A lot of gold buyers and gold sellers were caught when they can’t circumvent and launder illicit gold in SoD.
Yeah, the GDKPs are what sets this apart from real vanilla. Not the metas, world buffs, or that everything is solved.
