GDKPs are an auction, not gambling. If auctions are now gambling and against ToS, then Blizzard needs to remove their own auction house.

Their argument isn’t even that, it’s even worse. It’s that people are gambling for fun (not the bidding for loot) while in GDKP raids, and somehow that means GDKP should be banned. lol

If you are in a gdkp people know there is people with gold therefore there is often someone with the gambling addon and some choose to have fun gambling with their gold. Nothing wrong, nor is it tos. Also falsely reporting will backfire at some point.

That addon is not related to GDKPs and could be used in any group. People have used it in my group with other loot systems. GDKPs are more like going to a real-life auction with bidding which isn’t the same thing as a lottery.

Anyway, I know this is another weird rant or a troll.

I felt like sharing a story though.

So when I was like 13 I was playing this game with a casino (Dragon Warrior 4) and I would play that for hours and hours trying to get to some goal but I would always lose to “the house”. After that, I decided to screw that, I hate gambling. I never gambled in real life as an adult when I could because IMO it’s a waste of time and money.

PLENTY of gambling going on all over the place. Shoot i see people gambling while waiting to cap towers in terokkar.

Banning GDKPs wouldn’t stop the gambling at all lol

No, they are talking about something different. People come to GDKPs and while the GDKP is running there is a gambling addon that people play, separate from the loot sales.

So the OP is trying to ban GDKPs because people are gambling while doing the raid? I was in PuGs and guild raids where people were running a gambling add-on and gambling. I have been in guild raids where people were death rolling. So according to the OP, ALL raids need to be banned because gambling happens in them. LOL nice…

Yep they should really take action since this is clearly against their guidelines and GDKPs are where all the people with RMT gold hang out. They should just ban GDKPs to stop this illicit gambling and proliferation of RMT.
