I had my hunter in Tempo doing BWL/AQ40 for a few resets, but I pulled him out to start a guild with my friends and help other people fresh to classic get geared/progress

Sounds awesome man, good for you. Thereâs no guild with more unhinged ragers on this forum than rock apes. Itâs so weird. Apparently they have all the gear, all the gdkp gold, all the âskillâ and yet they are on the forums defending P2W WoW till their dying breath.

They have a dedicated economic interest which requires them (not all, but enough of them) to be as vocal about supporting GDKP and RMT runs

I make all of my gold 100% legit from gdkp cuts, never RMTd before in my life.
If you guys actually ran a few gdkps every week you too could have tons of gold, but instead you sit on the forums and cry and petition for blizzard to ban gdkp because you are incapable of comprehending that gdkp doesnât require RMT
Oh good, so you support Blizzard banning GDKPs and replacing it with an official global DKP system so that players can use PUG DKP loot system without the obvious RMT/P2W that takes place in GDKPs.

Not an RMTer, but replacing a completely P2W loot system with a system where itâs impossible to RMT would âdo nothingâ. Iâm sure you wouldnât prefer to use official DKP to make sure no one is âcheatingâ in your GDKP runs, right?

How are you going to implement an official dkp system that allows you to transfer your dkp to other characters, including ones that are on separate accounts, as is the case with tons of people.
Gdkp allows you to run raids on all your characters and share the gold earned on each of them to freely use on any of your other characters for other runs, and use that gold for things other than gear in raids, there is no way to implement a system as flexible as this without it just becoming the same exact thing with the same issues just with extra steps.
You also wouldnât be able to make IRL money from raid loot either xD

Yeah, effectively turning WoW into Lost Ark style trash where you need many alts to get many lockouts to get more âGDKPâ than you can with one character. Well, it would be that way if people actually did GDKP to get the gold to bid. In reality, they are swiping VISA to get the gold to bid (just like Lost Ark).
How about if you want to gear an alt, you⌠play him? Progress him? Whatâs the rush, thereâs no expansion coming to wipe out classic era.
Itâs funny how GDKP RMTers will talk about how âthereâs no reason to raid after youâre BISâ but they all apparently have many alts that need to be geared with their mainâs DKP. All these character would be raiding, but instead they are getting carried in GDKPs spending their mainâs gold. The problem they state is actually caused by GDKP - no wonder they are so familiar with it.

Thats exactly what people are doing in these gdkp raids.
We are playing the characters, clearing the raids, and getting loot. Just the same as any other group.
You guys do realize that the bosses do have to die to get the loot right? You cant just pay kel thuzad gold and ask him for his drops.
Its no different than a loot council guild bringing in peoples alts and funneling gear to them, except with gdkp, all those people that help kill the bosses also share gold amongst themselves and there is more incentive for people to show up every week
