By no means is this an endorsement of GDKP’s and certainly not a request for them as I believe as previously stated they run contrary to the spirit of Classic,
However aren’t there plenty of loopholes people could use to get around them, ie using a discord server to find sellers/buyers and once in raid make a request to buy some linen cloth or copper ore for 100,000g and “conveniently” be given Gressil for free?

I’ve viewed gdkp as the alternate loot scheme for people who think waiting for 5 people before on ML list before them is crap. I’d agree with that assessment.
See to solve lots of problems the answer as I see it is personal loot. If you didn’t get loot and are unhappy about that…well complain to the RNG gods lol.

Blizzard was clear before SoD that they are capable of catching this. They can easily detect people trading hundreds of hold after a raid
LOL if banning GDKP kills off gold buying then explain the gold buying problems on SOD / Cata that virtually do not exist on Era.
I find it amusing because GDKP is banned on SoD yet they have a serious good buying plague there.
Meanwhile on Era many pugs GDKP, and because we have so few gold buyers there is actually deflation in our economy.
The real problem is the culture of worms that infest SoD and Cata, it’s not the GDKP.

Its interesting because they claim that its for guilds, but gdkps are alt runs pretty much.
99% of players raid in a guild on their main, most guilds do 1 raid per week of the newest raid.
So the people who want to do alts or older raids do gdkps on those alts.
It literally does nothing to the integrity of guilds.
It also doesnt stop gold buying.
Quite a lot of naxx geared players GDKP I see them in chat often. While I dont personally GDKP often and was formerly opposed to it for many of the reasons presented on the forums; but I realised after the gold buyers departed for SoD and Cata that GDKP isnt a problem, but actually just the gold buyers.
The solution is and always has been Perma the buyers for any amount of gold purchase, with no chance for recovery. Additionally bans should be the entire battle net account.
They are welcome to cone back and get banned over and over until they quit buying or playing.
After playing SOD its clear the people who buy gold will still buy gold.

One time a friend of mine Bought a substantial amount of Gold.
I had loaned this friend tons of Gold at several points as they were not that savvy at Gold management. Long story short they gave me some of this purchased gold and even though I had zero Idea it was purchased Gold we both got banned for a week straight.
I don’t think they can get around hiding mass trades with huge portions…
If you buy items from the AH that was farmed by bots you should also be banned.
If you sell items on the AH or to other players and they find out the gold was bought the seller of the items sold should also be banned.
Yes, but even with this, it scared enough people on SOD that GDKP aren’t prevalent.
You don’t need a loophole. Just sell carries.
You can’t rules lawyer the devs of a game they will just ban you, they aren’t the judicial system. Horrible idea to attempt something like that.

had a few guildies who thought they were slick… didnt even win any items… and were banned for even being a part of the raid
