Add 4 more groups, then create a roaster for each group with everyones Wishlist in mind, to make it even.

Then do it again at 60 with all 40 people in the raid, and deal with people spazing out because they didnt get gear week 1.

There are three obvious criteria of people who do GDKPS:

1. Raid groups who are looking for extra gold so they aren’t at a loss on consumes. 2. People who just want some extra gold. 3. Large scale operations like this who may or may not be selling gold.

Most people are in section 1 or 2.

What you’re watching happen is exactly what it looks like, and exactly what all the anti-gdkp people were saying about gdkp.

It’s not “most people” who are “just looking for gold for consumes” or “extra gold”.
It’s literally a cycle/recycle. Hosts level 5+ characters specifically for that juicy 10% host cut, so they generally walk away every reset with 80%+ of a full GDKP pot.

SoD is VERY profitable for hosts because…

Every 3 days.

Then they resell to RMT sites, RMT sites sell to their runners, the cycle continues.
Yes, bots farm gold. But unlike the AH, there’s no “cut” to artificially deflate supply.
So around 20% of just about every GDKP (and the vast majority have high host cuts, with runners with 5 toons) is guaranteed to ur associated with RMT.
