There are three obvious criteria of people who do GDKPS:
- Raid groups who are looking for extra gold so they aren’t at a loss on consumes. 2. People who just want some extra gold. 3. Large scale operations like this who may or may not be selling gold.
Most people are in section 1 or 2.
Dont have the time to do loot. You literally have people roll instead of bid on items and its faster. Holy sheeeto the mental gymnastics of some of these losers.

It seems to me like he was implying that he knows a way to avoid blizzard’s detection but doesn’t want to do it, considering that information isn’t even public, i don’t know how he could.
Anyway, he is basically doing what you want him to do is he not? GDKP is against the rules so he is stopping, I don’t see what the fuss is precisely

People love to make Loot council seem so complex when it’s really so easy for 10 man raids. Bob and Rob both want a piece of loot, the piece of loot just goes to the one who contributes more to the raid first unless they both are equally contributing in which you just have them roll on it.

Why would anyone bother with loot council for a raid with a 3 day lock out? Just do soft reserve so everyone has to chose what they really want the most and roll off everything else. You’ll still gear up quickly as long as you run with a consistent group.

Add 4 more groups, then create a roaster for each group with everyones Wishlist in mind, to make it even.
Then do it again at 60 with all 40 people in the raid, and deal with people spazing out because they didnt get gear week 1.

I’m blowing through about 80 silver per raid.

an actual tryhard speedrun costs me like 3g, the people who are buying gold for consumes are absolutely not playing the game at all, no one needs gdkp for consumes
