OMG the amount of copium you’re taking is insane… lemme break these down 1 by 1.

Yeah, getting an entire community to agree a pricing scheme for item trades is laughable. Especially because the market is so volatile. It’s just not possible.

This your big idea? So, people either need two accounts or they’re logging in and out all the time and you think blizzard can’t see that? Not to mention the amount of time this adds to a run? Nobody trying to be in Gnomer for 2 hours trying to circumvent GDKP bans.

Because we know what items are going to drop! Yeah I’m going need you to post a 1k gold down payment and then you’ll get whatever you don’t spend back afterwards.

Sir this is a ticket run and will still suffer the same shortcomings of any other GDKP type raid.

I, for one, was worried the legion of rotating alts would not show up to spew forth massive amounts of threads on this under the guise they are all just regular accounts with 3 postings but love GDKPs.

The devs stating “run GDKP at your own risk as it’s a ban able offense” will cut down on GDKP’s by 80%

Will the other 20% still do it? Probably, but it’s still 80% solved without any actual enforcement.

Oh boy we can just trade something else… because it’s not gold they won’t know!! This is like those that think a burner account made them safe while funding their gdkp habit because blizzard couldn’t see the accounts on the same IP address… oh wait.

I cannot imagine the headache of someone threatening a raid leader with reporting them unless they get x gear.

Most people that run GDKP’s care more about their accounts than gold buyers, that’s just the reality. If gold buyers cared that much they wouldn’t need to buy gold.

I agree with this. They have the tools to do this, if they desire. It is all about wanting to.

Some people have asked, well if they had this all along why they didn’t do something about it earlier. Maybe internally they were focused on other things.
Now they’ve shifted to Microsoft, perhaps things or priorities have also shifted. Maybe this is just a “test” to see everything that can find or to test out the AI.

No one really knows (well other than the backseat armchair gamers who think they know everything) where this could go but it is exciting to see it unfold I will say.

It’s never Lv60s in Naxx gear against GDKPs. You know, the people who ACTUALLY raid. It’s always people with retail avatars and Lv25s who have absolutely no idea how the game works at 60. You’d think these people would ask themselves, “Hm, this end-game geared raid leader thinks this is a bad idea…maybe it is a bad idea?”
