That’s a lie. In Era a rogue, for example, just get invited if it have A LOT of money to spend or if its a very very strong carrier. Otherwise, no invites. That’s why I stopped playing era.
Gdkp is a cancer that forces you play with classes that you don’t like to earn gold to spend with your main. People that don’t have time to rise an alt are strongly affected. I hope it’ll never come back to sod.

Cant believe that people still have yet to give up on this.
I think it is pretty clear that Blizz would rather see SOD “die” than allowing the GDKP to come back.

Can’t believe that there’s still people who keep trolling a legitimate thread on wanting to see gdkp’s return.
I’ve provided multiple solutions that have no impact on people who do not want them to be a part of there game yet no constructive discussion just trolling and wah wah wah i don’t want gdkp’s in the game.
The gdkp ban was a failure its why its not in any other version of the game and retail changed there entire loot system to avoid people using gdkp because of how popular it was. Not only that people still sell carries and mounts and achievements in game for gold so same thing different way of being done.
The gdkp ban was such a failure they didn’t even implement it in sod taiwan because of how negatively it impacted the playerbase. This was seen the exact same way across NA and EU and is impossible to ignore or argue against.
You have 1 of 2 options here going forward
1.You either compromise to a solution that allows both sides to get what they want e.g servers dedicated for/against gdkp’s or something along those lines.
2.You don’t compromise and gdkp’s will inevitably return to sod and if they don’t the game will suffer and future versions of season / classic+ will have them included and you won’t get any say.
Choice is yours
I’m going to go with Option 3.
Leave GDKP’s out of the game.

I am in favor of bringing GDKP back, but i just dont see Blizz doing it.
I feel they are likely to simply remain silent on this issue to avoid bringing back GDKP for the fear of potential drama and backlash from GDKP haters.
GDKPs were neither necessary nor desired by the majority of the player population; the best action Blizzard took was to eliminate this detrimental element from the game.

Actually, it doesn’t bother me because I keep the spam channel in a separate window, so I don’t have to see it. If spam is posted in the general or trade channels, I report it for improper use and the user gets server muted.
