i got him on one of my huntersā¦ he just happened to be up when i was questing at the lodgeā¦ there was an afk hunter flying above him, so i just tamed him and went on my merry way 
i havenāt purchased it yetā¦ for some weird reason i was kind of hoping that black friday sales may give me a few dollars off. 
i think iām suffering mild burn-out and need a lil break.
will probably buy it by the end of the weekā¦ want to finish a couple of projects first.

You think they will since the expansion came out? And thatās understandable! I know a lot of people were going ham the last few weeks trying to gear up and ready for SL but got tired from it all. /:

probably not, because thereād be thousands of people screaming that they want their few dollars refunded because they just purchased it.
i can at least hope theyāll put Squeakers on sale!

Hopefully Blizzard gives us some pretty nice sales. Iāma broke Elf and I spent a bit for Thanksgiving so any bit helps lol!

I did purchase SL and am now slogging though it without a lot of enthusiasm. The forced path and side stories I find completely uninteresting. Iām only as far as the first zone but already finding things to do other than logging into the game.
I donāt know, Iāve played since July of 2006 without a break and maybe Iāve finally reached the limits of my investment in WoW. I read somewhere that to get out of Bastion there is a dungeon. If game progression depends on a group activity that may be it for me. Iām purely a solo player now other than spontaneous groups at world bosses.
Sorry to sound down but the covenant system doesnāt interest me, the covenants as stories donāt interest me and this new realm feels so disconnected from Azeroth. Maybe thatās good for a lot of folks to get a kind of reboot but this geezer liked the continuity. Bleh. Iām not throwing in the towel yet, but this is the closest Iāve felt to it in nearly 15 years.

i think that would be the final straw for a lot of people.
i think thatās another thing putting me offā¦ but i mostly play solo, so choices probably donāt really matter much in the long run.
this is my first expansion launch where i havenāt played on day 1.
maybe itāll grow on you

Just keep plugging. The story is pretty good and well structured imo. No big rush either. And if youāre a gatherer, that helps too. Plus, trasures and rares are fun and interesting and rewarding again.
Thereās a lot to actually do so donāt rush yourself.
This is incorrect. Once you complete the main storyline sans dungeon, you move on to Maldraxus.
The dungeon is a ācapstoneā, if you will. Itās important for story completion but most definitely not actual levelling progression.

Woot! I got the Shimmermist Runner and Wildseed Cradle! Only downside is the Wildseed Cradle isnāt a 2 person mount

You donāt have to do the dungeons that are at the end of each area. They will just tell you to report to Oribos, and that will take you to the next area.
