I play all the expansions backwards, that is, I used my geared 50’s (120’s) to go back and complete all class halls and stuff now that I could solo dungeons. The same with SL, I’ll take my 60’s and come back to finish the dungeons to unlock the Kul Tirans as well as other achievements.
In my old age I’ve become allergic to group activities and so wait until I can solo things. Or, in the case of the Treasures of Pandaria, Surfie told me how to go about it and succeed. The wonderful difference between being stubborn and willful, ignorant obstinancy.
