GD Lounge # Reforged_Insanity :)

Alas, I will never be able to sleep again for the rest of today, until it is dark out. No naps for me, doesn’t work.

My blood work is finally done, which means I can eat again! Now I just need to wait ten more minutes until the local sandwich joint opens for take-out and I can quench my hunger on a turkey bacon club melt.

Doing good, I had to that evil grocery run yesterday, but should be good to hold up again for awhile.

How are things with you?

Good, I’m living with my parents because I can’t stand being alone with zero interaction, but I am not working because of the coronavirus, and, I’d hate to admit it, but I need someone to take help take care of me because I can’t go do my job.

I have my mom and two kids here. So, there is always noise.

I am just glad I was able to find toilet paper yesterday… was down to the last two rolls…

Nice, we’ve had pretty good luck so far at our local store. My dad also stocks up a lot on tp, so we’re good.

An impressive effort for a high school student with a very tight and focused plot. One of the advantages of writing poetry is that is disciplines one to not be profligate with the number of words used. The descriptions are excellent, especially the final bit before he opens the door.

“The cold solidity of the brass handle is enough to stir his senses out of the fog of fear.”

A great line as it coveys the shifting of terror and shock from the intangible to the tangible. Best of all, it makes one want to know more about what is happening.

Thank you for sharing.

Hey there, Cyndiou! I’m sorry I dropped off the radar this morning. I’d been up for 22 hours and ended up nodding off on the couch. Thank you for sharing your poetry. You write such lovely imagery! Stay safe and hope we will get to chat again soon. :relaxed:

This poor toon is limping out of a nearly botched 3 mask Stormwind run

The suffering was worth it. Got a 460 robe. Noice.

Seriously one good whack with the higher difficulty parts of stormwind can KO me and my emergency second chance activated so I went from “No fear” to “ONE FEAR”
