Like most European children, I was a free range kid. Consequences for my stupidity included scars and the possibility of broken bones.
I realize that we don’t want our children in pain, but suffering is the salt of empathy. Not enough and you ruin the depth of the person.
Well it’s pretty traditional dinner items. Mashed potatoes, green-beans, sugar and honey cured ham.
Not sure beyond that, will just see what is asked.

I think it’s true for most places where the default thing for kids is “Go play Outside”. I get that it’s not always an option in suburbia, there might only be strip-malls in walking distance.
I blame the current thought pattern on rampant trying to live through one’s children.

I think telling kids to go play outside is less and less common in the entire world nowadays. Dangers just keep growing sadly.
That is definitely a pretty bad factor yeah . Then there’s also how nowadays we must protect a person’s feelings above all other costs.

It’s a lot more dangerous where I live now. Drugs have creeped their way into my quiet little neighborhood. We have had 3 fatal h-overdoses in the last 3 months in a 1 mile radius around me. With that crime is up around us as well
