The black serpent is more difficult to get, because hunters tame it or it dies before I can tag it.
I wouldn’t mind a slight buff for old world bosses that drop mounts. I would say, make it where it takes 5 minutes to kill instead of 0.5 seconds.
Alliance and Horde share rare tags now, so it’s a win, win for both sides.

I think when serpent tameing became available, pandaren get serpent tameing automatically, everyone else needs Order of the Cloud Serpent exalted rep to learn.
I was too lazy to do the rep grind so, I rolled a pandaren hunter.
It’s super dead, I play there when I have really bad days at work or I need a place to not deal with people, because of stress.

I won’t be actually leveling this character til heirloom upgrades become available, but if you want sometime, I can try to phase you in to tame some pets.
The raid boss from M Vaults is tameble too.

i tame new ones as part of the leveling process.
i just looked at my “not collected” pets… i’ve been slacking. 
“I use to go taming them out of pure boredom. Haven’t done any taming in about 3 x-pacs.”
i find that i’ve always got a goal when i log in, and it’s usually gear, gold, mogs and mounts… or random silly achievements.
i haven’t dedicated time solely to pets since probably MoP.
i still haven’t unlocked the pet battle dungeons
