weird night… got lots of housework done.
gonna be another stinker tomorrow… and for the next few days.
at least there was a bit of a break with a couple of cool days.

i made some toadstools for the yard, from concrete and pvc pipe.
painted them and “planted” them.
i’ll try to remember to take pics before someone steals them
they’ve been in the works for ages, but i only stuck them in the ground tonight.

just for fun, i’m getting a massive pimple right in the middle of my forehead! :joy:
(i’ll blame all the christmas treats) :face_with_peeking_eye:

sleep time now!!

It’s 2020, it’s 2021, it’s 2022, now where going to see it’s 2023.

At least we know people can count and know what year it is.

“It’s also how my Husband remembers which Wedding Anniversary we are on. We got married in 2000, so what ever year it is, is what anniversary we are on.”

I read somewhere you married a chef, lucky catch.

He can make you a sandwich instead of the other way around.

“He will make me anything I want, even if he needs to find a recipe.”

“He cooked his first Turkey, last Christmas, and did a great job. Had to learn how, but it only took him one try.”

Either next week or this week I’m going to try The Poor Mans Meal".

This one I would recommend to try out, it does look good.

Some of my cooking is Nomi cooking, so I hope I can meet a guy who can cook too.

those “hot dogs” are very different to australian hotdogs.

firstly, a hotdog is a frank in a bun :stuck_out_tongue:

our frankfurts don’t have bits in them which can be recognized as meat or fat.
it’s all one colour inside the skin… and they’re not tough like that, i was amazed how solid those were!

“It’s cheese.”

“They were frozen.”

ok, that’s … weird :stuck_out_tongue:

ah.

“Actually, it is quite common. Google it.”

i tried.

all i’m seeing is cheese shops in frankfurt :joy:

i guess i’m terrible at googling stuff.

i have heard of cheese kransky…

I don’t like the idea; it’s going to put a lot of people out of jobs.

people say the same thing about self-checkouts at supermarkets too… the jobs are still there, they’re just different sectors.
people still need to maintain and service the machines. (if their soft-serve machines never work, they’ll need an army of staff to keep these things running!)
humans are needed to make adjustments with the app.
people still need to clean the store and bathrooms and carpark.

honestly, this can only be positive.
people who are just trying to do their jobs, are no longer being abused or spat at by ferals.

they can just work quietly behind the scenes, with no need for customer contact.
