If you’re asking about a D3 character, it should be fine. I don’t ever recall them saying anything about inactive characters being deleted for 3.

Now as far as D2 
 with the original D2 and LOD on closed battlenet, they could become inactive and subject to deletion after either 90 or 180 days of not entering a game. I can’t remember which it was. But I think it was 180 and even then, it wasn’t a sure thing.

I was playing LOD furiously before WoW came out and then WoW slowly chipped away at my free time. I think at one point, I hadn’t played D2 for a good 6 months or more,and when I got the itch and logged in, all of my characters, decked out and mules alike, all said something along the lines of “inactive or some other thing” under their name and level. Some I was able to click on and enter a game with no issues, but some others I got a message along the lines of “that character no longer exists” or some such.
It was pretty hit or miss when it came to which ones as well. Some decked out characters and mules were fine, others were not.

After 7 years? D3 you SHOULD be fine. But OG D2/LOD, it’s 50/50. Can always give it a shot. Might be disappointed or pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, that was the last one I played.

I just looked on my lunch break to see if my character existed.

Not there anymore, but it was expected.

I get to start fresh, I don’t remember the story anyways so this is a good thing for me.

My birthday is on the 21st at 2:15 AM CST.

Also, i don’t know how long this has been a sport but apparently Shark Baiting is a sport.

Fort those unaware (like i was) Shark Baiting is where you are either on a boat or underwater in a cage and teasing sharks with food but do not give it to them.

IMHO these people need to be removed from the gene pool by becoming the food for the Sharks are doing this too. I mean they are doing this to Great White Sharks, Tiger Sharks and Bull Sharks

It was D3 not D2.

For some reason they didn’t appear when I tried to do a check in the Diablo forums.
