I tried to at least respect my mom growing up (even realizing i couldn’t love her after a point)… I really did. Even when i realized i couldn’t respect her as a person i tried to respect her because of being my mom but all that turned out futile.
She became even worse after she found religion. Remember answering machines? After i moved out and me and my best friend were living together we got a cheap one. I came home from work one day to the answering machine tape completely filled up on one call from my mom saying for to “pick up because she knew i was there.” over and over again.
I could go on and on about her but i’d rather not.
Edit: And no i didn’t give her my phone number so…

I really wish they would bring back loot timers, if group loot came back. Had a warrior AFK at the end of LFR and didn’t roll holding everyone up for a tier piece. I have to log soon so I had no choice but to leave. 
Group loot was a mistake for LFR.

it’s hard to walk away… we’re indoctrinated to believe that our mothers are a special person.
in many cases, they’re just a person who has caused irreparable damage and lasting trauma.
what makes it harder, is people sticking their nose in with “you’ll regret it later” (or similar.)
nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors.
they don’t know what you’ve endured in secret.

My mother is dead now.
I have no regrets.
All the bad things… I thought were normal.
I thought everyone had the same sort of life… until I was old enough to start seeing how other mothers treated their children.
I’m gonna go have a ciggy, then get busy playing with all my new transmogs (which i’ll never wear!)

The update 8 hours ago still wasn’t comprehensive enough… gonna go learn some more of the mega collection of mogs i’ve accumulated over the last 2 months
