my bubba went to the vet again today.
another microlax, did 3 big poops while he was there.
subcutaneous fluids so he didn’t have to stay there overnight on an IV.
raising his dose of lactulose from 3ml twice a day, to 5 ml twice a day.
raising his dose of cisapride from 1 tablet twice a day, to 2 tablets twice a day.
also giving him a special cat laxative, which is meant to go on his paws and he licks it off… but i tried to put it on his paw, and he stopped me… and licked it off my finger. 
as long as it gets into his belly, it’s all good.
the original doses were for a “standard” size cat, so it’s not a huge shock that it wasn’t enough.
he is a BIG boy.
the receptionist asked if he was Burmilla crossed with Maine Kewn. (the forum won’t let me use the proper spelling, i had to improvise) 
I kind of forget how big he is until I see a normal … “cat sized” cat 
anyhoo, he did another big 
after we got home.
he’s sleeping now.
it’s been a long day, i’m gonna go try to get some sleep.
