It is official: Slaanesh is about Perfection not Lust, Gluttony or Greed.
Lust, Gluttony or Greed in of themselves are of Order not Chaos.
Slaanesh is about pursuing Perfection which is why his allies seek the Perfect Ecstasy. Infact when the Eldar were told their Hedonism was creating a God in the Warp they decided to indulge harder in hopes that the God would give them Perfection! It backfired on them!
If the Eldar were freed from Slaanesh you can be sure the Eldar would party as much as possible without interest in seeking Perfection(since that backfired) and create the Order Gods of Lust, Greed, Pride, Vanity, Envy, Sloth and Gluttony from their debauchery!
Khorne embodies Blood and Worthy Skulls(from important people fought in a glorious manner).
Khorne mocks Tzeentch because his Magic just kills and is too subtle and outright despises Slaanesh because he does not dedicate himself to indiscriminate Slaughter.

chrisp loses loserishly
That feeling when you log into your main for the first time in like a week and realize you’re friggin broke from all the Mage Tower wipes/consumables and unexpected spending that week
Logged in on it just now to do some casual house-keeping/clear up my bags, couldn’t help but notice I’m hovering dangerously low, down to a whopping 14,172 gold
So not only are these challenges tough DPS-checks, they’re also apparently “gold-checks”
I like hard fights like the mage tower, just not in a MMO because of stuff like the gold check for it.
In sekrio all I have to deal with is a loading screen. You still lose your consumes in that game but you don’t need your consumes to beat a boss or pratice the boss, which is like many other solo hard games I have played as well. The consumes are more “help”
Just discovered that Shampoo and Body Wash is Perfumed…
So a Perfumed Sea would be my Bath Tub Water expanded into a Sea!
Even so I would prefer if the Perfumed Seas are Pink…
Perfume must be Pink!
“Purple is better.”
Agreed.
It’s like, I don’t think people mind a challenge, but when that challenge is so poorly tuned, when the DPS-checks are sooo tight that you “need” to spend like 100k+ gold on consumables/twink pieces/other BS to stand a chance versus the boss, that kind of thing does upset people since it’s not about player skill.
I don’t remember these challenges costing folks 100k+ gold back in Legion for their class challenge
Back then it was pretty reasonable: maybe a few thousand gold for your repair bills, plus maybe a few thousand for basic flasks/food… that’s it. You MAYBE spent 10k gold at the most (reasonable) unless you had like 400 wipes/something really excessive.
I’ve been thinking:
If Silent Hill has a South Vale and a Paleville(where Central Silent Hill is found) then there should be a North Vale, West Vale, East Vale and Darkville…
Considering Shepherd’s Glen is west of Silent Hill I would assume West Vale is directly north of Lakeside Amusement Park.
I would assume that means West Vale isn’t anywhere near Lake Toluca! East Vale and North Vale on the other hand…
We also see the Downpour part of Silent Hill directly east of South Vale… and on the East end of Lake Toluca… North of that should be East Vale…
If there is a South Vale southwest of Central Silent Hill and on the other side of the Lake then Silent Hill is clearly not a Small Town regardless of what advertisements or Memos may say!
We’ve all been there at one time or another, Chrisp. For myself, I’ve come to realize that when I have no motivation to do one thing, it’s because I’m trying to force myself to do the wrong thing. And I have plenty of fun figuring out what I need to be doing. A good example of this is when I was sick. I had plentyof time to play WoW but just couldn’t bring myself to log on. So I looked at all my unpainted minis. I had/have a lot of unfinished Warcry terrain to build and warbands to paint, but I couldn’t bring myself to do that even.
And then I looked at the Orc Warboss from Kill Team and saw JoJo from JoJo’s Bizzarre Adventures. And I thought, this model “acquired” enough teef to get off Angelis (the world in the 40k universe where my favorite game of all time, Gorkamorka, took place) and somehow ended up on Octarius (where this version of Kill Team takes place) with his faithful grot sidekick Skooba Steev and his blue and white bomb squiq named Broos (a Jaws reference and yes, “Youze is gonna need a bigger trukk!”) along with other Orcs he’s gathered around him. So basically, I not only wrote my own head canon 40k story, but now I have the minis to tell it. But there’s also the Krieg kill team left to paint. Their great coats are not just blue, but a blue urban camo scheme (to offset the desert camo theme of the Orc trousers). And I’m nearly done with all 20 minis. And am feeling super inspired for my Warcry minis and terrain as well as a very important and, to me, exceptionally special mini I’m painiting for Surfy.
Point being is when you feel demotivated, consider that you’re just not meant to be doing what you’ve been doing and that you need to find out what motivates you now. It’s not a bad thing, just something each and everyone of us goes through. Perhaps charity work may inspire you, or writing about what you see outside your window, or anything other than staring at a computer screen at the Bnet launcher dreading putting in your PW.
As for the moral strength, that’s just relatavistic bearpuckey! How many men and women have committed objectively terrible acts throughout history based on the strength of moral conviction? Far more, I’d wager, than those who’ve done objective good.
Again, sometimes it’s okay to be a bit selfish. And I can’t stress this enough, you need to find what makes you feel inspired to make changes in your life and disregard what others (myself included) say, do, or think. Because as long as you’re happy and not actively seeking to harm yourself or others, you’ll be in fine shape.
Remember that time you went for a walk to the park and dipped your toes in that cold stream? I don’t think I’ve seen you post a happier thread in the Lounge before. Maybe nature and being around nature is your current inspirational jam. Perhaps consider putting on your new boots and breaking them in at the park or something like that.
As we used to say way back in the 80’s and 90’s: Find your bliss, bro.
thank you, you silly billy. i appreciate your concern. or interest or engagement whatever.
looks at the name tag on his underpants
That’s weird. I thought my name was Elmer. But this says, Hanes. Is my name Hanes now?! I’m confused.
sits down and eats a tasty
Here’s the thing dude. I’ve read some of your posts out in other threads in GD. I know-for a fact-you are a genuinely decent guy with a truly thoughtful head on your shoulders.
You, like I used to (and still sometimes do), give yourself far less credit than you deserve. I know your situation isn’t what you’d like it to be and for others, from the outside looking in, near incomprehensible. Others can brush it aside, you cannot.
I say what i say because I’ve been where you’re at emotionally and physically. Hell, in many ways, I’m still there and many days, yes, I still struggle a great deal. And if there is anything I can do to help you break out of your own traps, by God I will. Even if it’s just sounding like a second-rate-armchair-psychiatrist-Tony Robbins-Hippy-wannabe here in the Lounge, you know?
So, if Pelagos becomes Arbiter and is a meta soul bind to a player does this mean Bastion covenant players won’t have him anymore and only have 2 binds to choose from instead of 3?
Did they randomly pick a name out of a hat or draw straws.
Pelagos can’t be in 2 places at once.
