Seems the Emperor banned worship of him for a reason: The Imperium’s worship of the guy is twisting him into the avatar of every worshipper the Imperium has!
The Chaos God inhabiting the Emperor’s shell is more dangerous than one expects! I wouldn’t be surprised if it is a Chaos God of Fear whom is feared by even the other 4 Chaos Gods.
Change, Life, Perfection and War are all concepts that don’t bank on one thing: Fear.
Guilliman of course misinterpreted the Chaos God’s rantings for the Emperor’s own desires and assumed that he was always a tool for the Emperor. In reality the Chaos God of Fear sees Guilliman as the tool.
The Chaos God’s manifestation to it’s followers was in the form of Guilliman: It wants Guilliman’s Body. The Imperium is starting to see Guilliman as being the image of the Emperor and it’s influencing the Chaos God shaping it into a copy of him!
I wonder what will happen when the other Loyalist Primarchs show up and witness Guilliman’s possession and pay a visit to the Emperor to find out what’s going on…
Let’s hope that the Chaos God of Fear possessing Guilliman frees the Emperor from the Chaos God’s control allowing the Primarchs to receive orders to shatter the Golden Throne allowing the Emperor to revive while cutting off Guilliman from the Imperium as a whole as the Empire collapses!..or Chaos God Guilliman creates a new Astronomican from ritual sacrifice to him directly…
The Emperor showing up alive and well and ordering Holy Terra to get rid of all Religion except for the worship of the Void Dragon will probably be the beginning of his new Empire free of the flaws that resulted from Guilliman setting up the Religion after the Emperor’s enthronement following the Horus Heresy.
The Emperor in the end will have to resort to using Necron technology to establish his new Empire via using the tech to traverse the Galaxy and conquer it from everyone including the Imperium!

I just leave Undercity and Teldrassil in the past. Every holiday takes place there, and no reason to set either to the messed up BFA state, as nothing ever happens there. The tore them up put a couple of event quests in the area, and then for got about the two places.
So, I forget they were ever destroyed.

Addendum to the post: Someone on YouTube was suggesting the Emperor was talking to both Guilliman and Mortarion at the same time!
If indeed the case than Guilliman was the favored Son while Mortarion was a Tool just like Angron with the Emperor not being concerned with his freedom.
The Emperor convinced many of his Sons to join willingly yet was forceful in regards to Mortarion and Angron… Two weapons to be used and discarded…
Irony that both ended up in the hands of the Chaos Gods who also see them as tools… Mortarion is learning how much of a tool he himself is at the end of Dark Imperium: Godblight. He only joined Nurgle because Nurgle forced him to join by unleashing his Psychic might upon the Death Guard…
The Dark Imperium Trilogy is the start of Mortarion’s realization of how he is nothing more than a tool by everyone else as well as Guilliman descending into despair due to misinterpreting the Emperor’s speech.
Mortarion is eventually going to either descend into despair or finally free himself from his chains and become his own man! Warhammer 40K doesn’t have a Nagash at the moment yet if Mortarion declares Nurgle to be Life and himself to be Death and gets the Death Guard to start worshipping him instead of Nurgle he will be the Nagash of 40K…
His Model even holds traits from Nagash! The same Death Energy is seen coming out of him in the Model as it does from Nagash and his Undead!
