It’s funny how Whale Sharks due to their way of eating can get used to their Aquarium and obtain a longer lifespan while Great White Sharks die very quickly due to starvation.

A Whale Shark casually swallows the krill almost never closing it’s mouth for anything as it moves through the sea almost like breathing allowing it to live long enough to get comfortable with it’s situation and thrive while a Great White hunts it’s food and thus when faced with a traumatizing move into an aquarium will easily starve itself to death before getting used to the new environment.

Once a Whale Shark is used to the Aquarium(which has to be big like the Georgia Aquarium) it thrives and attains a longer lifespan than normally when it’s in the Wild. The random bumping into other Whale Sharks(due to Whale Sharks moving in a Circle) does not impede the Whale Shark’s survival rate which means the bumping is merely an inconvenience at best and not a stressful event.

Incidentally the Tiger Shark also can survive Tanks due to their sheer ravenousness compared to the Great White Shark which rarely attacks people and refuses to eat those it bites. Tiger Sharks not being in the habit of refusing to pass up meals helps them survive in Tanks.

Part of me wishes we could see great whites in aquariums. They’re just such a neat shark. I’d love to see one up close actually.

Sharks in general are just rad. I love when they swim up to humans. Some sharks actually do form little bonds with divers. Kinda like when fish swim up to other fish so they can get cleaned up.

Some even swim up to get snoot rubs. That’s so cute

Tiger Sharks and Whale Sharks are able to be provided for due to their eating habits but Great Whites have the constant habit of refusing food they don’t want and it keeps them from surviving in Aquariums(while Tiger Sharks decrease their gluttonous urges in Aquariums their instincts prevent them from outright starving themselves).

The only Great Whites to handle an aquarium were Juveniles who proceeded to eat every thing in sight.

Any Great Whites brought into Captivity must be Juvenile and thus prepare for the animal to eat Live Fish and be tamed over time.

Yeah great whites love their fatty seals and I can’t imagine those are easy to get for aquariums to feed them

Saw otter so here yall go

I am happy. I found a dedicated PMD rescue server for not just DX but PMD1- DX. They have been around for 3 or 4 years now and people will help you out if you need help on the gameboy or the switch versions.

climbs out of Surfy’s pocket, climbs up onto Chrisp’s lap, bonks him on the noggin, and gives him a very stern look

You are our friend. More importantly, you are family. Our day is always a bit brighter when you pop by just to even say ‘hello’! You would be sorely missed if you stopped coming by, mister. AND DON’T YOU FORGET IT!

gives Chrisp a sticky note so he doesn’t forget it, a tasty :bear::sandwich: and a hug
