Honestly, that’s kind of where I’m at. My big day is Sundays 2:30-4:30/5 to run random epic BGs with Surfy. And honestly, I don’t even know if 9.1.5 holds a lot of attraction for me. I was hoping for some additional storytelling with Blizzard finally rounding out the heritage armor sets but nope.
And given that all the 9.1.5 features are Legion centric, I’m more convinced than ever that 9.2 is the final patch of SL.
And the excuses for WoD 2.0 will be completely and totally disastrous.

Yea the 1.5 patch isnt holding me long, basically gunna blow up the 7 mage tower challenges and be done again lol
The mythic+ gear wont be better than anything I already have, you wont get 252 versions from vault anyway
on the plus side, I just got Old Warrior Soul off our sylvanas kill just now, so I’m basically set on trinkets til 9.2 lol

Also, on Sundays, Surfy and I like to go into Epic Battlegrounds. And I get to give all my Horde buddies lots and lots of hugs…WITH BULLETS AND KITTIES! And I also get Nelfy Grabs from Surfy which makes me happy!

Because it’s never has been, and never will be, about what’s good or bad.
It is about control and power. As an example, let’s pretend (maybe not so much given current trends) Blizzard reverts their current statement and does away with skimpy mogs.
This will make a tremendous amount of people very unhappy. But, it will also make a portion of Blizzard happy because, who cares about WoW when you can exert your power and exult in it?
Sadly, society has moved away from the “you do you” mentality entirely and jumped head first into thr kiddie-safe depth end of the pool of “YOU DO WHAT I SAY OR ELSE!!!”
It’s both frightening and pathetic.

It is more along the lines, “You do what I say or you are not doing what is in the best interests of humanity and you should be ashamed of yourself for giving in to lesser instincts.”
A lot of it just feels like people want to make you feel bad for not accepting the changes while they are being made no matter what side they are on.

Pretty much. And that’s the worst part of it imo. It’s emotional abuse in the pursuit of power.
All of this, in my opinion, is the result of a bunch of middle to upper middle class brats who’ve never faced adversity before “solving” problems that don’t exist only so they can feel empowered.
I have faced true adversity. I know you, and many others who have faced true adversity and everyone I know who has fought or is fighting their way through their adversity has never supported such meaningless change.
The gaslighting is strong with Blizzard.
