Hope everyone is doing well and settling into a well earned Friday. At least for those who get weekends.
Please stay healthy, patient and calm. Regardless of one’s political stance, what we have seen this year is American democracy getting a stress test and largely passing. Checks and balances have held firm and the flexibility to govern an increasingly tribal populace remains intact as we accommodate all voices – each sharing moments of governing and moments of opposition. I celebrate the clash of ideas and fear the clash of people; may we always have the clarity and respect to appreciate the difference.
Be well, be grateful and be humble in remembering our opinions are just that, opinions.

I am tested by choice, since the beginning of shadowlands I have walked along the paths of the ascended Kyrain… But now I am unsure if I should continue such path. I watch other great warriors wielding great power of the night fae and now must decide which I would follow… These covenants are so very hard to choose for…

that doggo is one cool dude 
…sadly when it gets this hot, the water which comes out of the cold tap gets boiling hot too… so the only relief is ice-packs, and laying in front of the fan with spritz bottles. the air-con can’t cope, the heat happens faster than it can cool.

“if you can, place a box fan in the window facing out. This will vent the hot air out, making it easier to cool the air inside.”
“If your place is two stories, put the fan in an upper level Window, the higher the better. Hot air rises, ya know.”

single storey… no trees to hide under, just a big hotbox made of brick, with terracotta tiles… which heat up during the day, then release heat into the building when the sun goes down. (so no relief at night either)
box fans aren’t very common here, it’s mostly pedestal fans
