JJ Abrams deciding to cut Luke from The Force Awakens practically wrote Rian Johnson into a corner and the guy went for the most unacceptable solution: By having Luke Skywalker draw a Lightsaber on his nephew for sensing that he was communicating with Snoke.
I wonder what Rian Johnson would create if he wasn’t cornered… Does he only have talent if not constrained by other Films of a Trilogy or does he have no talent at all?
