Gathermate2

Hey, I was wondering how to update Gathermate2 for BFA. I have the twitch client, and have the newest update for both Gathermate2 and Gathermate2_data, but I can't seem to get the nodes to pop up on my map.

I even went into the settings, and the addon recognizes the new types of ore/herbs but it won't display them. When I go to import the data BFA isn't on the list. Just the previous expansions.

Any ideas? I would have thought they would have gotten a lot of data from the beta.
Nobody knows?
Reinstall the addon? Works fine on my end.

I've done that, and it didn't fix the problem. BFA still doesn't show up on the import list, and the nodes still aren't showing up on my map.
I haven't been able to import data either -- but the nodes I've gathered myself are showing, at least.
Gathermate data hasn't been updated in a long time as far as I know

So what's the work around? What's the next best thing?
I haven't gotten it to work on my end. My nodes are saved and work as they should, but i can't import previous nodes from either of the gathermate data options.
perhaps we should try pooling our data together via exports?
WoWGatheringNodes works perfectly.
Have you tried doing any gathering yet? For me, once I gather a certain herb/ ore or fish the gathermate icon appears on my map and stays there. It seems like you have to discover the nodes before they will show on your map permanently.

I never used gathermate at the start of an expansion so I just assumed this is how it always worked.

what he is saying is he wants to import data to have it show on his map so he can see the best spots to pick/mine but there is no option to import BFA data
So i finally got everything to work today, but its a trick. Make sure you have gathermate2 and routes up to date. Also download WoWGatheringNodes. You can then download the wowgatheringnodes into gathermate, and then gathermate into routes.
When you import WGN into gathermate, there will be a separate tab at the top for WoWGatheringNodes. Go to that, select the databases you want to import (you can do them all but it will clutter your world map a bit) and click import.
Then go into routes, go to add on the left hand side, select the zone you want your route to appear in, and name your route. I suggest making separate routes if you want to mine specific nodes. then go down, and select the appropriate gathermate data (like all mining, or all herbs, or both, depending on what you want to farm) then click create route. You can then follow routes' instructions to optimize your route. Then /dance because its all finally working (this part is important).

Note: if you use ELVui, there is currently a bug that literally prevents clicking the button in gathermate that imports WGN data. You have to log out, disable evlui, log in, import to gathermate. Then log back out and turn ELVui back on and log back in, everything works. I also had to temporarily move an addon folder called AddOnskins to my desktop because it bugged once i disabled elvui.
Took me a while to write all this out, so i hope someone finds it useful!

That is far too much work for me, Gathermate2 works just fine by itself.

That may have been an extra you have installed on elvui. It worked fine on mine

this worked great.

additionally raider IO prevented me from importing WGN and when I disabled it it imported fine.
