Hi this is a follow up post about it being impossible to mine and farm your own mats. Did 4 laps around Hellfire Pen and found 3 fel iron ores. It’s like this at all hours whether it’s late at night or during the day. I’m stuck at 320 blacksmithing. At this rate I’ll be able to craft my Drake Fist Hammer in about a month. I wish more people would bring this to light. It’s a big feature in the game that is completely broken. It wasn’t anything like this in TBC Classic. Please just have dynamic ore re spawn rates, or increase rates all together.

We are though, there are tons of threads on it.
Blizzard is just ignoring them. It’s also weird to me that they buffed terocone spawns ahead of release in late 2025 but didn’t do the same for other nodes.

Damn you got lucky, i did 4 hours of laps around hellfire and Zang, tried 3 different layers, and did not see 1 ore node… not even a blip of one on the mini map

They were responding to the biggest issue from the last TBC-C.
Ignoring the fact that forcing everyone onto two megaservers would fundamentally change gameplay.
Maybe next TBC-C release, we’ll get a response to the problems that megaservers caused.

Given how they’re treating this, I genuinely don’t think there will ever be a fresh TBC released from Blizzard ever again.

There will be eventually, because otherwise they do not have legal standing to sue private TBC servers.
It might be another ten or twenty years, though.
I’d love to be wrong.
I really wish lessons learned and fixed applied from previous launches would be in place ahead of a new launch.
It’s so annoying to make the same exact mistakes over and over and pray they fix them.

these same personas crying about not being able to find ore and herbs in Outland … i wonder how many times they would have to touch an open flame before they realized that fire is indeed hot.
If they can phase and layer, I say give us our own nodes!
they did less than nothing… There are even more bots and they are even more persistent. They have complete and total control over the economy and the player base is fully at their mercy
