Hey all
Mining nodes suddenly do not show up on my mini-map, but only on a specific character. I’ve done what Blizzard CS suggested and uninstalled Curse, deleted WTF/Cache folders, updated interface folder to ‘interface.old’, disabled all add-ons, repaired WoW, etc - but no luck.
The weird thing is my Herbalist and other Miner see them just fine? So not sure whats goin on.

I did everything to, can’t see Minning Nodes on mini map.
Herbs show up bright as if I’m a herbalist
Mine Nodes do not show up bright and hard to fine without mini-map
it effects only my 80 warrior the other alts see fine
Update not a bug. Somehow with last patch tracking nodes was turned off without my
knowledge on one toon.
If you have this problem look at the top where you get mail notifications and click the scroll icon.
Damn, just my Hunter, too. Any luck? I’ve done everything but completely reinstall at this point.
i was having same issue with my miner. finally thought to check minimap settings in the default bliz ui and found ore wasn’t checked. I also use ElvUi and i wasn’t able see the mini-map settings. after an ElvUi update today (10 Sept 2024), the settings are now visible. turning on the checkbox on the default bliz ui also did the job.

find the tracking button to save my life. Now I’m happily seeing minerals again. Thank you!!

I have the exact same issue… and like you it’s only on this character. What’s up Blizz?
