Blizzard can you please do something with these bots? They are everywhere and now giant gangs of them exist on my server roaming around mining / herbing everything. And yes, they are bots. Guildless level 60, all level 40 greens that follow the exact same walking path. Even doing the same 90 degree turns at specific locations. Ruins Tanaris and other zones, cause there literally no mithril to mine. But the prices are also on the floor since they flood the ah with it. God they are so easy to spot, do something. Holy cow.

It’s getting really nuts. I recall a hell of a lot of bots in Wrath, but this even beats that by a long shot.
I just see dozens of druids in designated lines running node to node. It’s soooo bad.

Eliminate them? I don’t think they can. Blizzard has been trying for years.
Maybe it’s easy for a human, but computers can’t do lots of things that humans can do easily. And players sometimes “spot bots” that are not bots.
It isn’t enough to say “he does what bots do”. Players can do that too. It isn’t against the rules. It isn’t bannable.
I totally agree that bots are a big problem for players. It would be wonderful if Blizzard could eliminate bots. I just don’t think Blizzard can do it.
They already did - they got rid of the big problem of multiboxers and in so doing eliminated all bots and fixed the economy.

I think a cool fix would be to write codes into the game which auto detects specific movement patters and autoflags characters Timeless Isles style for PvP combat.
One of my main toons is a Tauren Druid herbalism/alchemist and I’m always afraid while I’m running around picking up herbs I will get accused of being a bot. I go afk A LOT because I do farming and stuff when I’m at work. :3
Try using toys to disrupt there farming. That’s all I can think of.
One of my toons I ratate to play, this is one of my fears too. As much as I love the racial Cultivation, it might have to go if its being abused and hurting the WoW community. Change Culltivation to something else or replace the racial with something else.
The thing is, Taurens aren’t the only ones who have a racial passive like this. They would have to do the same with Worgen skinning, and I think its Highmountain who mine faster? I don’t recall.

I question whether it’s hurting the so called “WoW community” or hurting the people who want to exploit the “WoW community” through higher priced herbs and ores. I guess it all depends on whose ox is gored and whose profit is reduced.

I’ve been exterminating them in Bastion but … they’re endless.
What’s really funny - is when the babysitter logs in and tries to fight back. They start healing this DH in tank spec + try to kill me.
Then I proceed to grief them all for about an hour-ish till I get bored of it.
If anyone wants to join in the fun - they tend to be in Bastion around the Eternal Forge. Just go to the herb nodes and they’ll run by eventually. About 10ish of them usually running the loop.
Once you start attacking - the babysitter will fight back with this DH. If you kill them off - they’ve got a rogue in the mix that will sap ya … so, kill the group … pull one of the random mobs to start hitting you while you wait for them to start respawning.
Then … reap the honor. LOL.
Must suck … because nowadays I report every druid I see running the same loop the bots run.
IMO - Run in a bit of different patterns than they do. Maybe do something that they can’t script…
Because the last thing I want to do is say get a player mixed in with the bot carnage.

I stopped reporting them honestly, one goes poof and 3 more pop up 
“Against overwhelming odds” is so easy if we hit the bot loop. I guess that’s one way to end the BS.
Make it worth everyone’s while to slaughter the bots. Get a nice detente going on between ally/horde … to slaughter bots & not players.
Cuz … so many bots out there … we all got this problem … yo, I’m on the player’s side on this one. Horde/Ally - don’t matter. Kill the bots.
+++ One big thing I’m seeing with this whole thing:
A DRUID TAKING DAMAGE IN TRAVEL FORM NEEDS TO BREAK TRAVEL FORM. The bots are exploting this SO HARD.

They should just tag all the bots and make their HP 1 and killable by both factions no matter warmode on/off lol

Personally, I report every druid I see (obviously not the ones questing) and anyone running in bot patterns.
The sheer amount of bots I see is overwhelming.
It’s like the multiboxing botters farming Zin’anthid all over again.
Blizzard should’ve gotten rid of the multiboxers a long time ago; that would’ve had a big impact on their close relative; botters.
Yeah, god forbid someone tell someone to report a bot. You found the botter alright. lol

It is hurting it, cause people dont wanna bother with farming stuff cause the Bots ruin the prices to the point its worthless to waste your time on it.
And also because of them several drops have been nerfed which surprise, only hurt real players and barely affected them.
