In this Ch. 5 Chains of Domination campaign quest, gates can only be clicked by one person in the group and the quest does not grant credit for anyone else. The only option is to leave and rejoin the group every time you need to click a gate. The quest must be abandoned if even one gate is clicked while in a group.
